How
Do You Want To Be Loved?
If you dare ;-),
go to
your sad heart,
and
imagining
you hold in your hands
a
fairy-godmother dust broom,
gently
sweep away the cobwebs
that have
accumulated
over your
heart.
Now,
allow
your Spirit to
lovingly,
tenderly
'Embrace Your Heart'.
With great respect,
gently
close your weary eyes
and
lovingly,
'hold'
your heart.
Imagine:
you are a
young girl who's never been hurt
let down
abused
threatened
terrified
depressed
worn out
violated
or who
has experienced any such horrible thing.
Oh, how blessed are
these
girls and women!
Imagine further:
without
interruption
or
nay-saying,
you are
permitted to dream
the most
wonderful dream!
You are loved,
really
and truly loved
by a
wonderful mate.
Now!
for the
real magic:
imagine
you can create in this mate
the
perfect type of love for you
a love
that satisfies and honors
all your
unique needs and loves and passions.
What would this love be like?
What I'm asking, simply, is:
How Do You Want to Be Loved?
For example:
You want to be loved:
proudly
tenderly
with
great passion
with
delight, and celebration
without
reservation
with
appreciation
with
profound loyalty.
You want to be loved openly.
Brightly!
With great care
and attention.
With great
nurturance.
You want a love that
ever-demonstrates
the
purest of respect for you.
You want a steadfast love.
A love that can be quietly with
you
for hours
upon end --
a peaceful,
content love.
A love that brilliantly radiates
back to you
your
inner beauty
your
purity of heart
your
sweet girlish Spirit.
So........
pick up
your pencil and note-paper
and tell
me:
How do YOU want to be loved? :-)
As you contemplate how you want to
be loved,
an
important first step toward achieving this love is to practice it on your self.
