A few observations and much reasoning lead to error; many observations and a little reasoning lead to truth.
— Alexis Carrel

All of us are watchers--of television, of time clocks, of traffic on the freeway--but few are observers. Everyone is looking, not many are seeing.
--- Peter M. Leschak

Nothing has such power to broaden the mind as the ability to investigate systematically and truly all that comes under thy observation in life.
— Marcus Aurelies

I found this web site fun and interesting.  My first reaction to it was “I have not traveled that much I won’t be able to recognize where these places are.” But then I said to myself  Self, cut the negative reaction and don’t just look at the pictures, observe what is in the pictures.”

After that first reaction I started observing clues in the photos, in some cases it was some of the shadows, the shape of a certain building or the streets and roads. I’m sure you’ll find even more types of clues than I did.  Things you have heard about these places or seen in newspapers, magazines or on TV will come back to you and lead you to knowing where the spot is.

Have fun observing and guessing, that’s why it’s called “Guess the Spot.”
