“Is a PUZZLEMENT!” ---The King of Siam in “The King and I

“What has puzzled us before seems less mysterious, and the crooked paths look straighter as we approach the end.” — .Jean Paul Richter

“There are no extra pieces in the universe. Everyone is here because he or she has a place to fill, and every piece must fit itself into the big jigsaw puzzle.” ---Deepak Chopra

Friends are like puzzle pieces. If one goes away, that special piece can never be replaced and that puzzle will never be whole again. — Unknown

Today I would like to share some brain food to keep your mind young and flexible.   It is called Nonograms and it is a puzzle that lets you strengthen your brain with a simple logic challenge.  It changes every day and there are three levels you can play [in the drop down box].

When I started playing I thought I would never even try the second and third level, but over time my logic developed and I enjoyed trying the second level and again after time I got to the third level.

One of the nice features is that you can put a check mark in the box under the puzzle “Show Mistakes When Checking”   then click on ‘check’ and it will say there are no mistakes or it will show you any errors so you can change them.

The rules are simply stated:  “Your task is to find all of the blocks. Beside each row/column are listed the lengths of the runs of blocks on that row/column”.   It’s not hard but it makes you think, which is what they say keeps the mind young and agile.

And once you are hooked you can click on the date, drop down box and play the games from previous days.

Have Fun and Happy Thinking.
