“Happiness is nothing more than good health and a bad memory.”
---Albert Schweitzer
“The advantage of a bad memory is that one enjoys several times the same good things for the first time.” --- Friedrich Nietzsche
“It's surprising how much of memory is built around things unnoticed at the time” ---Barbara Kingsolver
The quotes this month are all to make you laugh as I suggest a fun way to keep something serious healthy. How is that for a convoluted sentence?
I think we have all read many articles telling us we need to exercise our brain to keep it healthy and working, and that doing so does have an effect on maintaining its ability to function well into our senior years.
I am hoping you like having fun and a small challenge and will spend the summer exercising your brain. Here you get to challenge yourself by looking at a photo and then answering a question about it. I know most of the time we think of exercise as hard but this time it is a game and it’s fun and easy.
Have a great summer pumping up your mind with WHAT WAS THERE? and we will see you and your expanded mental capacity in the fall.
