Switch Identity?

Many of us have more than one e-mail address or accounts under different forms of our names.  Sometimes it's only an abbreviation of our legal name, other times it's kind of a persona we have created for our selves like catlady3@------.

When you go from one e-mail account to another you have to hit the "Switch Identity" line to get to another e-mail account.  Often I've thought about that phrase "Switch Identity" and I wonder "How many people would like to do just that?"

I believe in my heart most people at one time or another have thought “wouldn't it be nice if I could just be someone else, living somewhere else, doing something else?" Or they’ve said something like "I would love to be rich!"

Practicing an "Attitude of Gratitude" can put these things in check. But gratitude has no room for feelings of envy, lust, wanting, begrudging, or being jealous.

Aspiring to be something better is a good thing.  Self-improvement is an on-going project. In the process, I believe we are to practice an "Attitude of Gratitude" for who we are during the transitional times.

If we want to feel our lives are successful we truly must like who we are.

We MUST control our "ATTITUDE" or it controls us. We need to look into our hearts and take stock of who we are and what we really want to fill our lives with.

I’ve learned a few things along the way of "Self Discovery…"

* I’ve learned God wants us to touch the lives of other people.

* For true peace to come into our lives "We must be the change that we want to see in the world" (Gandhi)

* Kindness and our personal time are some of the greatest gifts we can give.

Switch my identity?   I don't think so!  It's taken God way too long chiseling me into the person I am.

"Thank you, God, for your continued work on me."
