God Given Daisies             — by Carole Devecka

You Reap What You Sow

I can not wait for Daylight Savings Time and the start of spring.  Although we have had spring-like weather during the winter months here in New Jersey, it just doesn't stay more that one day.

I count my blessings daily, because I wake up to the sunrise on the water, and feeling the warmth of the sun on my face.

Last week I found this little saying and I wanted to share it with you.  The author is unknown but greatly appreciated.

For the Garden of Your Daily Living

Plant Three Rows of Peas:
Peace of Mind... Peace of Heart... Peace of Soul.

Plant Four Rows of Squash:
Squash Gossip... Squash Indifference... Squash Grumbling... Squash Selfishness.

Plant Four Rows of Lettuce:
Lettuce be Faithful... Lettuce be Kind... Lettuce be Patient... Lettuce Really Love One Another.

No Garden is Complete Without Turnips:
Turnip for Meetings... Turnip for Service... Turnip to Help One Another

To Conclude Our Garden We Must Have Thyme:
Thyme for Each Other... Thyme for Service... Thyme for Friends.

Water freely with Patience and Cultivate with Love. There is much fruit in your garden because you reap what you sow...
