God Given Daisies — by
Did you ever notice how many people are really
negative? Every thing they say, infer,
or do, has a negative connotation to it. These people wear you down in minutes; never
mind if you must spend the day with them.
I believe their negativity limits their progress,
love, trust, and opportunity in their lives. And in many cases it ruins relationships.
Worse yet, it's catching! Like the worst virus,
flu, measles, chicken pox or any dreaded epidemic. Or, you feel like you are
carrying a 1,000 pound sack on your back weighing you down.
I am very conscious of negativity. It is like
being rubbed with sand paper, up and down my skin, and in a few seconds...Ouch! It bothers me to even write about it.
You can say to a child "Can we say that in a
better or nicer, friendlier, way?" But you wouldn't say that to an adult.
So most of us listen and try to lead by example by putting a positive spin on
their negativity. This sometimes makes
them more agitated and negative and they feel they must justify their poor
attitude.
How does all of this relate to God Given Daisies
and SFPNN?
I feel that we are AMBASSADORS. Each
in our own right.
Yes, we are Ambassadors for Positivity touching
many in our daily lives, and trying to get people to experience something
positive in theirs.
A distant relative called me the other day and
told me that she was sick and tired of the news on television so she typed "Positive
News" in her search box. Guess who
she found on SFPNN?
My 90 year old mother, called me last night. She
told me her grandson called, and told her that she was the only person who
makes him feel positive about life, and makes him feel good about himself.
See, all of us can be Ambassadors, even without
leaving the house!
In the
dictionary Ambassador says "A representative
of the highest rank, sent as an official messenger of good will, or on a special
errand or mission"
So let's stamp out complaints, and negativity!
Please join our forces. Go out into your own mission field, and be an Ambassador.
You, too, can be a Positivist, and "An Ambassador for Peace and Positivity."
