God Given Daisies — by Carole Devecka
Thank Them
Veteran’s Day is a day set
aside to honor all those who serve and protect us.
How many of us actually go to
honor them? Do we go to the services at
memorials dedicated to them? Or do we leave it to the old Veterans to do?
It is sad, but true. Most of
the services are held with only old Veterans attending. It really is a shame more
people do not go.
Somewhere, at sometime during
Veteran’s Day, you can find someplace to honor those who serve us well.
Notice I didn’t say served us
well. I believe we should honor all of them. Those Veterans who have passed on, and those who serve us today.
Honor them. Pray for them. Hold them in the highest
regards.
Without them, where would we
be?
No one likes war or violence.
It hurts our very being. It cuts into our souls. So let’s spread peace. Each
one of us can begin the peace process.
“Let there be Peace on Earth, and let it begin with me” and in the meantime …
Thank those who keep us free.
Thank them all!
