Sciabica

I was recently reminded of one of my favorite products - Sciabica Olive Oil. It is made by the Sciabica (pronounced Sha-bee-ka) family in Northern California. They were even featured this week on the FOOD FINDS series on the FoodNetwork. They produce all extra-virgin oils but have many different varieties. My favorite is their Lemon Olive Oil pressed with real lemons. It is fabulous. Perfect for a delightful citrus vinaigrette. They also have an Orange Oil that I haven't tried yet.

Sciabica Oils are available in some stores but are also available on-line and through an 800 number. They are well worth the cost of shipping. Also available are gift sets - perfect holiday gifts for the foodies on your Christmas list.
