Calling for a Miracle
I received a terrific e-mail today from another PNN author, Lisa Vaden. She asked me to engage in an experiment with her – an experiment in calling forth infinite possibility in life.
I love experiments.
Lisa’s timely invitation brought to mind experiences I’d had in reaching, actually calling, for miracles. Years ago, I was training a sales team for my business. Spirit led me to a book by Tom Hopkins, How to Master the Art of Selling. Once I read the book, Tom became a powerful mentor, and I recognized his work as truly aligned with God. One of his suggestions was akin to a game that Lisa had suggested. I still do this whenever I think the world looks bleak, am caught up in the news, and need a complete transformation and miraculous viewpoint.
These are Tom’s instructions, paraphrased.
If you know you have 3 such observations in kindness to make every day, you will begin to look for them wherever you go. As you look for them, you will see many, many more than 3! Your life will begin to take on a glow and you will observe as your life is transformed.
Whenever I do this, it is my experience that I look for the good, and come home with miracles in love. I’m beginning again today. Now, that’s how I can make a difference!
Tom Hopkins has written many books since then and has been the number one salesperson in the United States for many years running. His accomplishments are made through love, truthfulness and appreciation for human beings.
