My Song — by Lisa Vaden

I FORGIVE YOU

I forgive you.

It is time to forgive the most important person in your life.

I forgive you.

It is time to realize that the past is the past.  It is over.  It is done.  Arrivederci.  Au revoir.  Adios.  Blow it kisses goodbye and it leaves faster and without as much of a fuss.

I forgive you.

It is time to know that you did and do the best you could and can at any given moment in your life, even now.  Isn’t that a relief?  Oh thank God.  Everything is ok.

I forgive you.

It is time to release all of the shame and blame that you have been toting around.  It is kinda heavy anyway and you really don’t need it where you are going.

I forgive you.

It is time to let go of feeling like a failure.  So it didn’t work.  Big deal. Try again or get this ~ do something totally different.  You’ve got options.  You’ve got choices.

I forgive you.

It is time to stop comparing yourself with others.  That measuring stick is sooooooo last century.  It doesn’t work anyway.  It never did.

I forgive you.

It is time to stop seeking others’ approval.  Do, feel and be what you approve of…kinda fits like a glove, huh?  It even gives you the warm and fuzzies.

I forgive you.

It is time to stop doubting and second guessing yourself.  That is so not cool.  Trust yourself.  Just go with it.  Let her rip!  I bet you get further.

I forgive you.

It is time to forgive the most important person in your life…

I forgive you, Lisa.*

*If the shoe fits, insert your name here.

Until next time,

Lisa

PS: Never settle.  Always work on creating the life that you know you are meant to live.

A great book that can help you is my book May I Have This Dance, Little One? God’s Whispers.

Just a thought.
