REFLECTIONS OF A ZEN MASTER

Act Humble But Be The Goddess You Are

Misty was a sweet, perceptive, loving creature. She was beautiful in every way and her Spirit radiated brightly. But when Misty first joined our family, she was timid and fearful as a result of the abuse she endured from her previous owners. However, with lots of love from her new humans, plenty of Fishies and positive affirmations, along with being spoiled rotten, Misty's Spirit soon healed and made way for this Feline Goddess to show her true colors!

Misty had us willingly wrapped around her little paws. If she showed affection for any object in our home, it became hers… Including blankets, boxes, a drinking glass, shoelaces, and us. In addition to our hearts, Misty got pretty much everything she wanted. Why? Because Mark, Misty and I all recognized the Kitty Goddess this fuzzy little angel was. And although Misty had the confidence and security of knowing her true identity, she was humble, sweet, and grateful for what she received. She treated her humans the same way they treated her - with kind, loving, respect. Misty's humbleness and gratitude made giving to Misty and placing her on a pedestal an honor, a pleasure, and a joy.

Misty knew the grandness of her own soul and could see the awesome Spirit of others. She was proud of who she was and walked with the stride of royalty. We can, too. Each of us has an amazing soul, a heart of gold, and special gifts and talents. We were all created by the Highest Power, designed to walk tall, authentic to our Spirit. Yet society often frowns on blowing our own horns too loudly thus comes the need for humbleness. We don't have to hide who we are, we must simply have full knowledge and respect of ourselves and others, and learn how to express ourselves in an appropriate way. Stand tall, my friends, recognizing the magnificence of YOUR spirit.

And remember Act Humble But Be The Goddess You Are!
