Misty had a special knack for turning the ordinary into the Sacred. Sunlight was deemed heavenly as she would peacefully slumber in it. Old shoestrings made the best toys. And chicken wings warranted turning renegade and risking the consequences of thievery from a human's plate on occasion. But one of Misty's greatest transformations was turning a brown, paper bag into her very own Kitty Cave. She'd crawl inside and ruffle it around until it turned into just the right position, angled on its side with just enough headroom to lay un-noticed and stalk any creature that might happen by. While inside her super-secret Kitty Cave, Misty morphed herself from a mild-mannered and meek kitten into SUPER CAT… With eyes that could see in the dark, a tail that could fluff to five times its size, and paws that could pounce faster than a speeding squirrel being chased by a Pit Bull!

Misty had the ability to transform herself through cherishing the little things, along with life, love, and creative vision. This is something we can all do by paying attention to detail, giving thanks for what we have and using a little imagination to compensate for what we don't have. A small amount of reverence goes a long way towards bringing joy.

Remember: Turn the ordinary into the sacred.
