EXPLORE THE UNKNOWN WHEN POSSIBLE
One thing Misty - and most cats - bring into our lives is a spark of curiosity and the quest for the unknown. Misty just loved to find new hiding places, cozy corners, covert caverns, beautiful blankets and serene sunning spots. If it was different, unknown and new in her eyes, it was just what she needed and wanted. Misty's enthusiasm for discovery helped pull her out of her shell of fear (from her previous owners' abuse) and brought her into the joy of the present moment. With each successful conquest of something new, she became a little more sure of herself and her surroundings. Her spirit (which had dwindled into a dim spark) grew into a brilliant flame of Light as she became an expert explorer.
We all need to explore the unknown whenever possible. Whether it be with little things such as new foods, a different fragrance of bubble bath, lotion or perfume, or a different route to work; or with big things such as a new course of study, a change of position or career, or worldly travels. We must also explore within to discover all the magnificence that would otherwise go undetected. Exploring feeds our sense of adventure and prevents us from getting stuck in fear. What can you explore today?
Remember: Explore the unknown when possible.
