Howdy Folks and Good Day!
One of the things I’d like to accomplish through SFPNN this year is to help
each of us move to a higher level in our lives… what that level is, is up to
you as an individual.
Some folks may want to raise themselves spiritually, others may want to work on health or healing, and some may want to delve into finances or following their dreams.
Raising ourselves up doesn’t mean there’s anything wrong with where we are right now. But if we want to truly appreciate life, it is a good idea to keep learning, keep growing, keep doing things we can feel good about.
We all need something to feel excited and passionate about. It doesn’t have to be a huge goal. Little ones are important too. What’s most important is that we reach deep into our hearts and discover what we truly desire, then find the courage to actually do it.
As always, whatever knowledge I am given or led to that may be helpful, I will share with you. And I encourage you to do the same with me.
Those of you who’ve been with SFPNN a while know how much we’ve evolved over the years. That’s because each of our authors has grown and evolved in their own way. As a result our writing topics grow and change too – and hopefully for the better!
Please take some time with yourself and think about what you’d like to raise to a higher level this year.
If there’s a particular topic you have an interest in and think it would be appropriate for SFPNN, drop me a note. I’ll see if I can specifically address that topic and share whatever fitting information I can find on it. And if you have some good information you’d like to share, please pass it along.

I want to be your angel
To be with you forever,
to see you when you sleep and wake
And never leave your side.
I know you will be well and safe, but I just
Want to be sure,
That nobody harms a hair on your head,
Like they did to me
before.
I want to be your angel
holding you at night,
through the day I can watch you and make
Sure everything is alright.
I need to be near you always
Smelling your hair and skin,
I just want to watch over you
And love you from within.
My heart is so full of love for you
that I cannot separate us apart,
I need to know you will always be well
deep, deep down in my heart.
I want to be your angel with
soft wings that will fly,
So I can pick you up and carry
you whenever you might cry.
I need to be near you
In case you might fall,
I want to kiss it better and
make sure no tears do fall.
And if they do my darling I will
carefully hush your worries away,
holding you and loving
you until the break of day.
If any thing happens to you
and I am not nearby,
Please know that I can hear you

Kodak Moments
Those of you who have been
reading my column a while know my Mom has been ill during this holiday season.
She now needs supervised care.
It is tough for someone who has
always taken care of people to have others now taking care of her, and
reminding her of her medications, telling her to drink water, and when to eat,
etc.
Feeling like she is near the
end, and her soul will be graduating soon, she consented to go see her brother
and sister living about three hours away.
Usually she tells me the drive
is too far for me to do, going back and forth in one day. I assured her it
wasn't too much for me and that I would do all the food so that it would be
easier on the others too.
I went to a restaurant supply
place and bought things that I would only have to heat up (not cooking from
scratch) and lots of salad stuff so we wouldn't be intruding on anyone else and
she wouldn't have the expense of taking everyone out to a restaurant.
When they all got together they
were like little kids, not only in stature but with silly little things they
had to say.
Uncle James and Aunt Dot are
from the story "Angel in a Pickup
Truck." I told them their story had appeared all over the world. They
told me they still look to find the truck! (Some people REALLY have to be
convinced there
The remainder of the day everyone spoke of
"Angel Things" and their own "God Stories."
There we were, four generations sharing our
stories.
All of a sudden I looked at the
elders sitting all in a row on a large sofa. Each one of them was suffering
from some devastating illness, yet looking young, and at peace. Each one had an animal either in their lap, or
the animal’s head on their knees. As
they stroked the household pets you could see their hearts soften... no longer angry
that age was pulling a cruel joke or game on them...
They were living the past in the present, and it was a real Kodak moment for the rest of us.
