Howdy Folks and Good Day!

One of the really important parts about “manifesting” our heart’s desires and making our dreams come true is coming from a place of love and gratitude.

Love and Gratitude for our circumstances can seem unthinkable when we’re someplace in our lives we really want to get out of… stuck in a dead end job, bills piled up, a rough relationship… They can feel nearly impossible to be grateful for.  It’s only human (ego) nature to focus on what’s wrong with everything and feel really lousy about it.

But it’s also our human (divine) nature to see the bigger picture, to forgive ourselves and others, and to experience love for ourselves, one another and our Creator, as well as gratitude for how far we’ve come and what we’ve made it through.

If we’re in a dead end job we hate, the way to get out of it is not by complaining and feeling resentful.  The way to get out of it is to say, “Thanks for the money and experience I’ve earned here.  It has been a blessing.  Even the tough times have taught me lessons and I’m all the smarter and wiser for it.”

And I’ll let you in on a little secret about that approach.  If we resent our current job, the resentment resonates throughout our body, thoughts, and energy field.  When we interview for another position, we’ll be filled with stress from that resentment which will make our interviewer uncomfortable.  If they ask about our current job, we’ll be filled with negativity about it, making it seem like we’ve got a bad attitude in general.  And with our personal energy field filled with resentment, the interviewer will pick up a “heaviness” or “darkness” around us and won’t feel good when they interact with us!   Not to mention our resentment tells God we don’t want what He’s helped us manifest!  (That includes future manifestations, too.)

On the other hand…

If we’re filled with gratitude over our current job, even if we are at a dead-end, and are truly thankful for the income it’s brought us and the experiences we’ve learned through, we’ll feel better about ourselves.  Our body, thoughts and energy field will be fixed on a higher frequency and we’ll exude positive energy.   We’ll be more relaxed during the interview which will help both us and the interviewer feel better.   When asked questions about our current position, we’ll be able to answer with confidence and even feel good about our accomplishments and the problem solving skills we’ve learned.  The interviewer will sense our positivity and pick up on our inner “Light” and higher vibration which will make them feel good around us!  Not to mention, our gratitude tells God we appreciate what He’s helped us manifest and that we’re ready and appreciative of more; i.e., the even better job!

It can definitely be challenging to change our attitude when in a tough situation.  But sometimes changing our prayers to, “God please help me accept this, learn the lessons from it now, and see and feel grateful the blessings it brought” can help us make better progress than pleading, “Please get me the heck out of this rat-hole!”  Once we’ve got the gratitude down, then we can pray for assistance in finding another job which will continue to bless us.  J  And we just might be surprised at how much more quickly that new job comes to us with grace and ease!

With Peace, Love, Happiness, Health, and Prosperity…

4.      GOOD NEWS FROM SFPNNers!

A NOTE From the Editor:

Howdy Folks!  I just wanted to share some really exciting news with you.  Some of you may already be familiar with either the Celebrate Your Life conference or with the Hay House equivalent, “I Can Do It.” The primary locations of these events have been in Scottsdale, Orlando, and Las Vegas so we were thrilled to hear that Celebrate Your Life is coming to Chicago!   That means it’s in driving distance for those of you in the Midwest.  And for folks around the US and even outside of the continental 48, the Chicago location means easy flights in and out!

Mark and I have attended the Celebrate Your Life conference in Scottsdale twice now and wouldn’t dream of missing it.

My first reaction was probably like yours, “How I can I make it fit into my budget and my schedule?” I’m personally grateful we found a way and I hope you will, too.  It truly is an amazing experience for anyone wanting to create a positive life and really get inspired.  And compared to booking a workshop with any one of these authors individually, it’s a great bargain!

This year’s Chicago conference includes Key Note presentations by Marianne Williamson, Sonia Choquette, Les Brown and Neale Donald Walsch. On top of that you get to pick SIX other workshops of your choice, three each on Saturday and Sunday. (A boxed lunch is included on both days.)

I don’t earn any kind of commission on this but would love to hear about your experiences if you decide to go.  I’ve personally experienced the absolute joy of this conference and have seen it truly change lives.  If you’re looking for something to boost you up and put your spirits in high gear, check it out!

Wishing you many blessings,
Jeanette

ANOTHER NOTE From Jeanette:  Joan Marie Whelan is the first medium / psychic I met who came from a place of Divine Love with a true intention and ability to heal.  She completely changed the way I viewed those who do “spiritual counseling” and I am grateful for her warmth, honesty and insight.  In fact, I would not be where I am today or have pursued my own gifts of intuition and healing had it not been for Joan Marie changing my perspective of this industry—and myself!  She’s now doing several radio shows across the US and books up quickly so this is a very special opportunity in deed!

6.      Wednesday WORD — by Diane, The California Dreamer

BLESSINGS OF JOY

"Blessings arise from a state of mind and heart that understands wholeness, that understands you, that sees what is right rather than what is wrong.  It is not problem-solving as much as it is problem dissolving."

— David Spangler

Despite living in warm sunny Southern California, I am finding out we can have dips in temperatures and cold gray days.  One day is bright warm and sunny and then the next can be foggy, damp and chilly.  Many of the people I work with complain how cold it is outside but I still see it as better than the previous springs I had while living in the Midwest.

I had an interesting encounter with a maintenance man in my building at work while waiting for the elevator.  I have never seen this man before and I had just come in from outside from one of those drizzly, damp days.  As we were standing there he smiled at me and asked if I had heard about the hail and heavy rains not too far from where we were.  I hadn't but commented on how bad we need the rain and it doesn't last long. We exchanged a few other pleasant comments and it was time for me to get off.  We both wished each other a pleasant afternoon and went on our ways.

As I walked back to my desk, I thought about what a pleasant positive conversation we had and how nice the short experience was.  We had both looked at the situation from a positive aspect.  Nothing changed about the outside, and it didn't cause the sun to come out and warm everything up.  It was just a change of attitude which really did make the rest of my afternoon go by in a nice frame of mind.

So many times we might not realize how much of a difference a smile or positive word can be to others.  Or how many times looking at something from a positive aspect can change not only our day, but someone else's.

Blessings come in a multitude of ways.  Whether it be rain on a very dry ground or sunshine on budding flowers, one is just as important as the other. Many times, it is all just a matter of our state of mind at the time.

Joy also comes in a multitude of ways.  What might bring me joy could be something you wouldn't think twice about and vice versa.  Joy and happiness come from within and when we realize this, it becomes so much easier to recognize and experience so much more.  Finding reasons to be happy and joyous come almost effortlessly.
