Howdy Folks and Good Day!
It’s kind of a running joke in the movies and TV shows when someone says, “Trust
me…” We all know by now NOT to trust
the person who reminds us to do so because inevitably they’ve got some sort of
plot up their sleeve!
Not trusting the bad guys is a good thing. It keeps us safe, prevents us from getting duped, and helps our heroes save the world. At least on TV.
The problem is most of us have also been conditioned not to trust ourselves! And that is not a good thing.
Because it’s our Higher Self, the self who’s tuned into our body, mind and spirit, the self which relays information from God about our life purpose, direction, and destiny, we’re blocking out when we don’t trust ourselves.
We’ve all ignored that little voice in the back of our head that said “don’t do it” only to wish we had listened. Or we've argued with the hunch to create that business, change jobs, or go for our dreams to later regret we didn’t do it when the opportunity presented itself.
Every single one of us receives divine guidance! EVERY one of us!
Most of us just don’t distinguish it, and when we do, we don’t trust it. That’s because we’ve been trained to get our answers from outside of ourselves… We look to the experts and forget we ourselves are the experts of our own lives.
That’s not to say a second opinion or getting help when needed is a bad idea. Outside advice can be extremely helpful. But so many of the answers we need are right here inside of us. All we have to do is tune in.
A funny thing happens when we tune in… We realize we’ve been getting Divine Guidance all along. We just didn’t recognize it!
Divine Guidance uses the same senses we utilize on a daily basis. They’re just tuned to a higher frequency. The primary ways we receive are:
Clairvoyance – clear seeing
Clairaudience – clear hearing
Clairsentience – clear feeling
Claircognizance – clear knowing
Sometimes things are projected externally. If you’ve ever seen something that really caught your attention and had a feeling of significance to it, that was a clairvoyant sign. A clairaudient sign might be hearing a particular song on the radio which answers a question you just had. Getting goose-bumps, otherwise known as “Truth Bumps” in a situation is an example of clairsentience. And those times when you just KNOW something and then run across information that reconfirms it can be attributed to claircognizance.
Often these things are also seen, heard, felt and thought WITHIN our own mind and body. We get a vision or daydream flashing in our mind’s eye. We hear a word, tone, song, or sound in our head. We get that “a-ha!” feeling or sense our energy shifting. Or we receive information through our thoughts which answers our questions and prayers or leads to something we needed to know.
We all have this incredible built in guidance system for our own personal use!
If you feel like yours isn’t working, the frequency may need fine-tuning. Chaos, stress, and a poor diet create static in our mind, body and spirit and make it hard to notice the guidance we’re given. Or we get the guidance but think, “Oh, that’s just in my head” so we don’t trust it.
When you hear yourself saying, “It’s just in my head,” pay attention. It’s in there for a reason! Especially those thoughts that won’t go away and are prompting you to do something for your own good or the good of others.
Of course, we do have to learn to distinguish between fear / ego thinking and divine guidance. But that comes with experience. If you want to learn more about being able to distinguish, you can refer back to the following article:
KNOW THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN DIVINE GUIDANCE
by Sir Froggie
http://www.sfpnn.com/frog4web/Frog2006/fp091106.htm
My friends, it is so important to learn to trust ourselves!
WE are NOT the bad guy portrayed in the movies. We are the hero of our lives and we write the script. But we must learn to believe in who we are. We must learn to feel confident in our choices and know we’re on the right path. Quite simply, we must trust.
So trust me… Better yet, TRUST YOU and tune into your own intuition.
With Peace, Love, Happiness, Health, and Prosperity…

WHERE’S
JESUS?
My daughters, Rachel and Kimberly, were about 7 and 5 at the time. Rachel loved to read to her little sister.
One day she was reading, not the words, but she was telling the story
as she showed pictures. That day she was
reading from the bible story book. She
said, "Now Kimmy, this is Jesus and his mommy,
Mary, and this is Moses," and she told her about the
Well, I thought about questioning her myself and asked Rachel,
"Where is Baby Jesus' daddy?"
She slammed the book shut and looked right at me with this smug look on her face. She said to me, "Momma, who do you think
is taking the picture?"

For
A Good Laugh, Check Out
It started so simple, so innocently… Tom fulfilled a promise to write the stories he said he would tell. A man, two dogs and a forlorn tree… Who could have known it would turn into the intriguing series known as "The Christmas Tree Chronicles." Don't be fooled by the name, these twisted tales take you year round!
It doesn't stop there, though.

Kindness Suggestion
LET OTHERS
When we’re growing, changing, and on fire with life, we want to change the world with us! It can be frustrating to be around others who don’t seem “up to speed.” We want to “help” them, change them, show them the way!
Yet we’re met with resistance.
It’s important to let everyone grow at their own speed. In an ideal world, especially within a “couples” relationship, we all grow at the same speed. But it doesn’t work that way. And that’s probably a good thing. Because by NOT growing at the same speed, we learn other important lessons like patience and compassion. We also learn more about ourselves and see our progress more. And believe it or not, those who haven’t quite “caught up” just might teach us a thing or two we missed in our rapid growth spurt.
Fear is most often the reason for resistance. If we truly we want to help others we must acknowledge their fears and concerns. And we must give them the time and space to work through them. Of course we can try to offer new perspectives and tools for moving past fear, but ultimately, it’s up to each individual to make that choice to change and grow or stay right where they are. We do others, and ourselves, a disservice when we try to force our ideals on them.
The best course of action is often to work on our own growth and lead by example. Share when appropriate, but don’t push.
For best results, let others grow at their own speed.

TAKE THE
SFPNN KINDNESS CHALLENGE!
Living through the words of Gandhi, we must be the change we want to see in the world. We must also acknowledge those who are in the act of creating those changes. Therefore, we have two challenges for you.
Kindness Challenge # 1: Do something kind today and every day. It doesn’t have to be of earth-shattering proportions to make a positive difference. Simply saying “Thank You” or letting someone know they’re appreciated can have a tremendous impact. Find little ways to be kind and to make our world a kinder place. And feel free to tell us about your kind act!
E-mail: “KINDNESS”
Kindness Challenge # 2: Share something kind someone has done for you! People are kind to us in a myriad of ways on a daily basis. But we often overlook their kindness. Become aware of acts of kindness and acknowledge the person performing them. Then share their kind gesture with SFPNN.

Moments of Joy — From
Trying to justify just relaxing, this song came to me.
Sometimes laziness comes over me
And all I want to do is be.
I don’t want to take care of worldly things;
I just want to let my foolish heart take wing.
What I mean by that word “foolish”
Is unhampered by my mind,
Willing to float off into space,
And connect with the divine.
That’s the way I feed my soul,
And arrive at a state of possibility.
Then I am reminded again--
All I need do is be me.
