Howdy Folks and Good Day!

So often we get bogged down in our daily activities.  We push and push and push ourselves then wonder why we have headaches, neck aches, back and shoulder pain, and no energy left.  We’re literally running on empty and pushing ourselves to do more.

Well, push no more!

Unless it’s to drag yourself into some nurturing downtime, or other rejuvenating acts of kindness to yourself.

We tend to have this belief we must get all our work done before we can rest or play but how can we possibly expect to have the energy to accomplish our work if we don’t rest, play and take care of ourselves first?  It’s like we somehow need permission to just be or to put our own self care first.

With that said, everyone officially has permission to just be and put your own self care first!

Hey, somebody had to do it!  And I’m right there with you when it comes to the to-do list, and feeling like I have to take care of other stuff.  At least I used to be.  I’m finally learning the importance of down time and putting me first. And I have to say it really makes a very positive difference!

We simply operate better when we provide ourselves with top-notch self care.  We have more energy, more joy, more zest for life!  We focus better, think better, get clearer insights.  We notice divine guidance more because we don’t have the static of stressful and toxic energy in us.

What rejuvenates you?  What refreshes your soul?  What kind of self care, self pampering, and self nurturing can you indulge in daily and/or weekly?

What have you been denying yourself of which helps you feel your best?

What can you do to put your self care first (if you’re not already) and ensure you stay at the top of your to do list?

If you think your self care might need a little improvement but aren’t sure where to begin, check out the SFPNN workshop Taking Care of Myself 101.  It covers all the basics and will get you thinking and enacting ways to take care of YOU.

After all, you deserve the best!

And you’re just the person to give it to yourself.

With Peace, Love, Happiness, Health, and Prosperity…

3.      What is Soul Magic?

Have you experienced coincidences, God incidents, or synchronicity?  Or looked at something and were overcome with its beauty or loveliness?  Have you ever been awash in gratitude or had one of those “a-ha!” moments?

Then you’ve experienced Soul Magic!   Big or small, Soul Magic moments are those moments that touch our soul and feel almost magical.

Sometimes it’s hard to put our finger on what makes them special because it’s more of a feeling than the event itself.  That doesn’t make it any less real!   We’d like you to join us in paying attention to the Soul Magic and every day miracles in your life.  Acknowledge them.  Write them down.  And then send them in to SFPNN.

As the editor of SFPNN, I would like to personally invite you to share your Soul Magic experiences with us.

You don't have to be a professional writer, just talk into the page and tell us your story!   E-mail:  SOUL MAGIC

Waking Up Here – Pt 3 of 5
Thoughts from a Canadian Resident in Santa Martha

By Ellie Braun-Haley

A trip to the grocery store here can be as simple as walking one block to the nearest confectionery and buying as little as a single bun. Or we can drive four miles (6 km) into the town of Etla for a whole cooked chicken, or visit the outdoor market spread out adjacent to the church. Here I can have my sandals repaired while I buy a broom and pick out fresh garden vegetables. The prices are too reasonable. The market is spread out in layers as huge wide steps climb up to the main market building. I found two stunning yet inexpensive water jugs on our last excursion.

Pottery in this area is beautiful. Different towns feature their own designs and types. In one town, San Bartolo, the famous black pottery can be purchased. For a short trip though, we drive over to Santa Maria Atzompa.

At one shop, a young man sat and visited with us telling us the miracle story of how he survived a car accident. He got tears in his eyes as he heard our English words. It was at that very moment he began to remember he could speak English! The tears had been those of gratefulness. Our visit had been a special event for him as our words had triggered his memory.  We gained a new friend and purchased three huge new pots to decorate the yard.

At the outdoor shop of one family we were shown the kiln and working area and visited with the artist. We recognized her work, having seen it at a tourist location earlier.

The architecture of Mexico is breathtaking. Many of the churches have been worked on and rebuilt from the 1600s. A study could be done just of doorways alone. Mixed into these very old structures, newer buildings are rising yet there is promise that the old will be preserved.

A NOTE FROM THE EDITOR:
If you’ve ever wanted to believe in miracles Carole Devecka IS a walking miracle.  I encourage everyone to read her column starting with the link provided below.

REFLECTIONS ON AN EASTER MIRACLE

As I sit thinking about this holiday week, I am reminded of my miraculous healing and receiving the Lord as my Savior on an Easter Sunday so, so, long ago.

If you don’t know my story please read my column from “In the Beginning...” way back in the archives of 2002.

http://www.sfpnn.com/Carole/cd102902.htm

I wonder what my life would have been if I didn't make the decision to go to that healing service on that day…   Would I have remained crippled with pain and having a pity party every moment of the day?  Would I have found some joy in living or would I have wished my life would end?

I am happy to say I will never know what would have become of my life of pain and suffering, because I chose to believe and receive ALL OF GOD'S BLESSINGS!

I can honestly say, without a doubt, that even at my worst times—mentally, physically, emotionally, or financially—I would not change a thing!

My walk with the Lord has not been easy. But, it has been miraculous, joyful, exciting, and by far the best decision I ever made. God is my constant companion. I trust Him to guide me into new adventures and direct my dreams and goals. His divine wisdom refines them and makes them achievable.

So this holiday, remember that God is our source of love, light, energy, and spirit. Enjoy the comfort of His presence in your life.

There wouldn't be Easter or Passover without HIM!
