Howdy Folks and Good Day!

It’s getting toward the end of the month and it’s once again a great time for Spiritual House Cleaning.  Those of you who’ve been with us a while are familiar with this process, but if you’re not, please visit:

http://www.sfpnn.com/shc1.htm

While we’re on the topic of Spiritual House Cleaning, I’d like to suggest a little twist to this month’s clearing process.  It will take a little more time than usual and requires the willingness to be really open, but it’s an incredibly powerful process that can transform your body, mind, and spirit.

One of the first lessons we learn about living a positive life is to let go grudges and forgive others, as well as ourselves.  A lot of times we emotionally forgive and intellectually forgive, but we forget to release the stored up energy of those old feelings from our body.  These stuck negative energies can wreak havoc on our physical body and on our immune system, and even continue to recreate similar experiences by triggering our subconscious beliefs.

Often we may not even realize we’ve stored negative emotions within us.  But every time we get angry, upset, worried, frustrated, jealous, resentful, or stressed, or are filled with grief, sadness or sorrow, we create a negative physical reaction and energy within our body in addition to what’s going on in our mind.  This isn’t anything new.  We all know when we’re upset we feel lousy physically as well as emotionally.  The trouble is we recognize and clear the emotions and thoughts, but forget to clear our body.

To clear one’s body immediately is always the best route… We can release the negative energy in a myriad of ways:

·         Exercising.

·         Walking in nature.

·         Sitting near moving water such as a stream or ocean.

·         Meditating and energetically pulling the physical sensations of lower or painful energy out, releasing them to God’s love and light.

·         Breathing / blowing the feelings out of our body and into the wind to be carried away and transformed.

·         Neutralizing the physical sensations by sending them love.

·         Getting a massage.

·         Taking a salt bath.

·         Getting a good Reiki session.

·         Journaling to move the energy from within our body out onto the page.

These methods are great for releasing negative emotions when or shortly after, they happen but if we haven’t been “clearing” on a regular basis we may have stored up negativity in our body we’re not even aware of!

In that case, it may take digging a little deeper emotionally first before we can release.  It’s a good idea to make a Forgiveness List.

Think of all the people you’ve wanted or needed to forgive, including people you’ve been upset with over little things – including your Self.   It might be “stupid little stuff” that no longer matters but if you were upset in the moment, chances are you put some negative energy into your body that might be stuck there.  So even if it’s something that seems silly which comes to mind, write it down anyway!  Nothing is too trivial.  (An example of this might be a child yelling, “I hate you!” because they didn’t get their way.  Of course they didn’t mean it, but that energy was still released.)

Also include events and circumstances you need to forgive and release, including incidents of grief, depression or disappointment.  Sometimes we weren’t upset with a particular person as much as the circumstances we found ourselves in.  If you’ve ever asked, “Why me?” or “How did this happen to me?” or “What the heck am I supposed to do now?” write down the situation it applied to… especially if your emotions were really charged at the time!  Include decisions you felt torn about making and anything you questioned or regretted doing.

Now tune into your body.  Are you achy or sore anywhere?  If your neck is bothering you, ask yourself, “Who is my pain in the neck?”  Listen for the answer and write it down!  Don’t judge it.  Simply write it down.  It’s OK if it’s someone you love or aren’t even upset with.  Just write it down.

Check your head, shoulders, back (upper, middle, and lower), hips, buttocks, stomach, legs, ankles, feet, arms, wrist, hands, etc.  Tune in everywhere and check for pain.  Always ask, “Who is my pain in the…?”  Or try querying, “What is this pain about?”  Another way to check is to ask, “Who or what is this cord attached to?”  (We create energetic cords to people, places and things we focus on and they create them to us, inadvertently drawing on each other’s energy.)   Write it all down!   Every bit of it!

Once you’ve scanned your body and have written down everything the aches and pains are attached to, ask if there is any other person, place, or thing which needs releasing.   Listen and write it down.

Once you’ve written it down, visualize everything you’ve written being pulled out of your body, mind, and spirit, including any “energetic cords.”  You can picture God’s energy flowing in like a waterfall pushing it out and rinsing it clean.  Or you can picture Archangel Michael (or any other religious figure you feel connected to) pulling it all out with a giant magnet or vacuum.   If you’re more mechanically inclined you could even see it as sort of a radiator flush!   The important part is to energetically and visually pull all that gunk out of your body.  As it is being pulled out, picture it going into a great big ball of golden energy and being neutralized with God’s Love and Light.

Next, take the list you wrote and tear it up.  You can either place it in a God jar where it is now in God’s hands and out of yours, or throw it into a fire to clear any residual energy and transmute it into positive air.  You can even bury it or throw it into a composting pile where it will be transformed by the earth into nutritional elements for new plants.

Once done with all of that, it’s a good idea to use one of the methods above such as taking a salt bath, walking in nature or sitting near water, etc., to complete the process.

Admittedly, this does require a bit of concentrated effort, openness, creativity, and willingness to release.  But the results are amazing!  I’ve actually witnessed people changing their physical appearance doing this!  They become lighter, happier, more joyful.  Once the heaviness of all that old stuff is released, we become more energetic, more inspired, and our bodies don’t hurt as much.  It’s an incredibly liberating experience!

I hope you’ll give it a try.  And if you’d like to share your results, please e-mail me with “Clearing Process” in the subject line.

With Peace, Love, Happiness, Health, and Prosperity…

Rev. Jeanette

4.      Humor:  Thanks to Jan K.

WITH AGE COMES WISDOM

A guy is 81 years old and loves to fish. He was sitting in his boat the other day when he heard a voice say, "Pick me up."

He looked around and couldn't see any one. He thought he was dreaming when he heard the voice say again, "Pick me up." He looked in the water and there, floating on the top of a log, was a frog.

The man said, "Are you talking to me?"

The frog said, "Yes, I'm talking to you. Pick me up. Then, kiss me and I'll turn into the most beautiful woman you have ever seen. I'll then give you more sexual pleasure that you ever could have dreamed of."

The man looked at the frog for a short time, reached over, picked it up carefully, and placed it in his front breast pocket.

Then the frog said, "What, are you nuts? Didn't you hear what I said? I said kiss me and I will give you sexual pleasures like you have never had."

He opened his pocket, looked at the frog and said, "Nah, at my age I'd rather have a talking frog."

6.      For A Good Laugh, Check Out Tom R. Oh!

It started so simple, so innocently… Tom fulfilled a promise to write the stories he said he would tell. A man, two dogs and a forlorn tree… Who could have known it would turn into the intriguing series known as "The Christmas Tree Chronicles." Don't be fooled by the name, these twisted tales take you year round!

It doesn't stop there, though. Tom R. Oh is one of SFPNN's most prolific writers with a style uniquely his own and several mini series in the making.

7.      Kindness Suggestion

SHARE YOUR LOVED ONE’S CLOTHING

Thanks to author, Ellie Braun-Haley

I have just been in touch with Karen Haffey of Toronto Ontario.  She and Esther Kalaba  are working on a wonderful project called Collecting Loss.

I personally plan on getting involved in their project and I thought you might be interested.    I am going to send them a yellow Hoodie which was mine but my son Jason wore. Then he was killed in a car accident.  You can read about Jason and The Yellow Hoodie at:

http://www.sfpnn.com/SoulMagic/Soul2005/sm041105.htm

Think about some item of clothing you might have of your Loved One who has died. Is there something that helps you feel connected to her/him, but that you would part with?

If you are willing to send it to Karen and her partner for their project, then this is a healing project you might wish to be involved in.

To understand what these two ladies are going to do with our items of clothing, you'll need to visit their web site.

  www.collectingloss.com

Or read on for a bit more information>>>>

Collecting Loss:
Weaving Threads of Memory
is a community-based art project, which begins with:

Collecting clothing which belonged to people who have died and the story this clothing evokes from those who loved them.

Donated clothing and stories will become part of a public art exhibit that will share, within a community setting, the often private experiences of losing someone we love.

This project is being created with the intentions to:

·         Preserve and honor memories;

·         Provide a visual and verbal gathering place for grief;

·         Explore change by weaving individual threads of cloth and story into shared fabric;

·         Offer healing, education and stimulation of dialogue around the death of a loved one.

“We are in the gathering phase of Collecting Loss and need the donation of your deceased loved one's clothing and your story. Please contribute by June 30, 2007.

Please be assured that all clothing and stories will be received with love, respect and the recognition that you have entrusted us with something very precious.

This project is reliant on these contributions. If you have lost someone you love, or know someone who has, please contribute or pass this link on:

www.collectingloss.com .

For questions and inquiries, please contact: info@collectingloss.com

With heartfelt gratitude,

Karen Haffey & Esther Kalaba

8.      TAKE THE SFPNN KINDNESS CHALLENGE!

Living through the words of Gandhi, we must be the change we want to see in the world.  We must also acknowledge those who are in the act of creating those changes.   Therefore, we have two challenges for you.

Kindness Challenge # 1:  Do something kind today and every day.   It doesn’t have to be of earth-shattering proportions to make a positive difference.  Simply saying “Thank You” or letting someone know they’re appreciated can have a tremendous impact.   Find little ways to be kind and to make our world a kinder place.  And feel free to tell us about your kind act!

E-mail: “KINDNESS

Kindness Challenge # 2:  Share something kind someone has done for you!   People are kind to us in a myriad of ways on a daily basis.  But we often overlook their kindness.  Become aware of acts of kindness and acknowledge the person performing them.  Then share their kind gesture with SFPNN.

9.      Moments of Joy — From Joy Hart

Riding through this beautiful Kentucky countryside in Spring, these songs came bursting through.

i feel so blest

I give thanks every day of my life
That I feel so blest.
That things always seem to be going my way,
No matter what, come what may.
As I send blessings out to everything I see,
I feel blessings bouncing back to me.

This is the way I go along.

Why wouldn’t I be singing a song?

Right after that, this one came.

If an idea

If an idea wants to be made known by me,
Who am I to stop it?
As Werner used to say a long time ago,
”Nothing gets in the way
Of an idea whose time has come.”
If it weren’t me, it would be someone else.
Whatever must be ultimately must be.
I’m grateful for the opportunity
To be a channel through which it can flow
Wherever it wants to go.

10.      The SFPNN Link of the Week – Recommended by Aunt Bette

Sir Froggie's Positive News Network is proud to present
The SFPNN Positivity Link Award to:

PETER CALLESEN-A4 PAPERART

 http://www.petercallesen.com/index/index2.html

Creativity, as has been said, consists largely of rearranging what we know in order to find out what we do not know... Hence, to think creatively, we must be able to look afresh at what we normally take for granted.
— George Kneller

Creativity is inventing, experimenting, growing, taking risks, breaking rules, making mistakes, and having fun. — Mary Lou Cook

Take a piece of A4 paper, just a normal ordinary blank one as it comes out of the copy machine tray. You can write on it, draw on it, but also cut into it. Cutting it is what Peter Callesen does.  He transforms this two-dimensional surface into three-dimensional sculptures by the means of a paper-cutting tool. From the white surface of ordinary A4 paper; a narrative arises, or rather, lots of them, many different stories and dramas.

The paper cutouts are very intricate, revealing a painstaking craftsmanship, great care and immense patience.  There are at least two photos almost all of the pieces; the first is an overall view and then a close up to show you those intricacies you can’t see in the overview.

NOTE: This web site is set up with the same address for all the pages so when you get to the link above, notice on the left hand side the listings, A4 Papercut,  Large Scale Papercut, and Framed A4 Papercut.  Be sure and click on all three of them.  The first page will show you what his creative mind and skill is capable of doing, which I find extraordinary and hope you do too; the second page will show you how some of those same Papercuts look when taken to another level by changing their size and on the third page he makes some of his Papercuts even more dramatic by just adding the contrast of a single color behind the Papercut.

Let There Be Peace On Earth and Let It Begin With Me...
