There are a lot of things going on the world and even in our own homes which can make us feel helpless, powerless, and overwhelmed. Yet we are far from powerless – or helpless! Sometimes, however, we need reminders of our own glory, inner strength and power.
This morning, I’d like to invite you to read the following declarations out loud with me. When we declare a spiritual truth out loud, it raises our energy, increases our spiritual power, and even makes us physically stronger. Here we go – say it with me, now! J
I am an incredible human being, worthy of all God’s blessings.
My life has purpose
and meaning.
My existence is
intentional and serves the highest good of the planet.
I stand firm in my
power and walk in Divine Love and Light.
I see, know, claim,
and experience myself as powerful child of God.
I CAN and DO make a
difference in this world!
The point of power is
now and in the choices I make. I make excellent choices with clarity, grace,
and ease.
I attract goodness and
abundance to me.
I maintain a high
level of prosperity in all areas of my life.

What did it feel like to read those aloud? (Or even to yourself?) Did you notice a change in energy from the time you started until you finished? Were any of them difficult for you to say or did they come easily? Did you believe all of the declarations you spoke or did Ego try to convince you otherwise?
You might want to copy and paste these declarations into a Word file and print them out to read on a daily basis. Or tape record them and listen to them as you drift off to sleep. Of course you can always add more as you see fit!
The important part is to remind your Self of your own inner divine glory and power. This is healthy – not narcissistic! If someone tells you otherwise, see how their life is working… or if they have any benefit from keeping you stuck outside of your own power and glory.
God did not create you to blend into the woodwork. We are all here to bring peace, love and Light to the world in some way or another. We just need a littler reminder of how capable we are now and then.

Why would a news crew cover the lunch hour at a small
The cafe was decorated with bras! and the owner, Laurie Jason was bringing to the attention of all her patrons the fund raising which is now in full swing for cancer programs.
Ms. Jason's thirteen year old daughter, was not impressed by the Global Television newscast as it featured not only the unusual decorations. The young teenager was mortified by a camera shot of her mother's backside. Laurie Jason was selling advertising spots on her body and all the money will be going to Breast Cancer programs.
Every year Laurie and her sister Debbie walk to raise money. They give up an entire weekend to walk 60 kilometers to raise an awareness and many dollars in support of Breast cancer programs. The sisters have a team of 8 ladies, walking this year, the STEP-SISTERS and they are sure to draw a lot of attention among the thousands of walkers, as Laurie has already sold her first advertisement. A sign will be made to cover Laurie's derriere (buttocks) and the purchaser has given $1000. for this advertising space! He has not made public what the ad will entail as yet.
It is highly likely Global will be doing a follow-up of this as enquiring minds will all asking, who bought the ad and what will the ad say? Laurie has more ads available as she will pin over her clothing, specially made ads to stand up to the grueling two day trek, one wonders what other types of responses might she receive?

SIGNS ANTI ANIMAL FIGHTING
President Bush signed the Animal Fighting Prohibition Enforcement Act into law. This is the culmination of an almost six-year campaign by The Humane Society of the United States and our allies to enact meaningful federal penalties for animal fighting.
The law takes effect immediately. It provides felony penalties for interstate commerce, import and export related to animal fighting activities, including commerce in cockfighting weapons. It will make it much harder for criminals who engage in dogfighting and cockfighting to continue their operations. Each violation of the federal law may bring up to three years in jail and up to a $250,000 fine for perpetrators.
We are fortunate to have had steadfast Congressional leadership on this issue. But this campaign would not have been a success without your tireless efforts. Thank you again to each of you who sent emails, made phone calls, wrote letters and visited your federal legislators on Capitol Hill and in their home districts.
A NOTE from the Editor: Folks, this is a monumental step in protecting the lives of millions of innocent animals, especially dogs! When we first moved to California Mark had to edit a video which detailed the underground activity of dog-fighting… It’s the first time I’ve seen him sick to his stomach over his work. Previously, our legal system often could not prosecute those involved in a way which would break up this activity. Now they can! This is an incredible accomplishment and it shows that each of us can and does make a difference! This truly is good news!

INTENTION
"Bring love

I have been home from my visit with my Father for a week now. I am still processing all that happened.
After 11 years of not speaking,
last Father's Day I decided it was time to put forth one last effort and call
him. I was very surprised when he
returned my message and we talked. Over
the past 10 months we have kept in contact and I asked him to come to
I had extremely mixed emotions and many hurtful childhood memories flooded back to me. I spent many worried hours wondering how it would turn out. After speaking to my Minster and several of my friends, I had to examine exactly my true motive. What was my intention for this trip? Was it to bring up and rehash the past or was it to build a bridge my father and I could walk over to create a relationship for the rest of the time he has to live?
My intention was to have no judgments and love him for who he is today. I hoped he would do the same with me. I wanted no regrets and to know that I did everything possible to have a good relationship with him.
When I first got there he was waiting in the driveway for me. As I stepped out of the car and walked toward him I could see he was much older and more frail since I last saw him. He reached out hugging me, sobbing and saying his daughter was there. The last time I had seen him sob was as he said a final good-bye to my brother at his funeral.
His tears and emotion as he hugged me washed away the years of pain. I could feel his love and knew I had made the right choice to travel across the country to see him.
We spent the next five days catching up on our lives. He showed me his world, taking me to all his favorite places and spending quality time together. I saw a man I had not seen as a child; I saw kindness and love with his wife today that I never saw between he and my Mother years ago. I also saw a man who has his own regrets and hurts about our family. He didn't need me to remind him of my hurts and painful childhood memories; he needed me to see him for who he has become today… Just as I needed him to love and accept me as I am today.
My Father thanked me over and over for visiting him and told me how much he enjoyed having me and how much my visit meant to him. For the first time in my life, he didn't have to say he loved me. My heart felt it and knows he loves me.
I couldn't help but realize that what I found was love. Love was my intention -- that we both open our hearts up to receive love from each other. Had I not held the intention of love within me, I would have missed what was before me.
There is no doubt in my mind we both experienced a long overdue healing of our hearts, and the bridge has been built for us to now have that relationship we never had before.
