Howdy Folks and Good Day!
One of our primary objectives for doing Sir Froggie’s Positive News Network is
to help people feel more positive about themselves, their lives, and the world
around us. If you had to rate your
average “Positivity” level on a scale from one to ten—one being you don’t like
yourself, the world, and everything in it, five is fairly neutral but with a
slightly positive charge, and ten means you are filled with joy and your spirit
literally soars—where would you be?
You might want to look at it on two levels… first of all determine an average that would sum up how you feel most of the time. In general, how happy are you?
Secondly, rate where you are right now. We all have our ups and downs and our moods change frequently throughout the day. You might be feeling different now than you do on average.
How did you rate your over-all positivity? How did you rate yourself right now?
If you fell between one and five, what’s going on in your life that needs to change? What can you change right now? What outside circumstances are affecting you? What INSIDE circumstances are affecting you?
It’s the inside stuff that determines how much of the outside things we’re willing to put up with or invest in! If we feel unworthy or continuously put ourselves down, chances are we’re not going to do much to improve things, whether we’re in a healthy or unhealthy position because our internal system somehow got switched to sabotage. It’s not meant to be that way, and we can, in fact, change it! But we must decide to do so! No one else can change it for us.
If you rated yourself from a six to a nine, what can you do to fine-tune things and lift yourself even higher? What aspects of your life are working for you? How can you incorporate more of these? What internal and external actions will bring even more joy and positivity into your outlook and overall well-being? What changes can you make?
If you rated yourself a ten, woo-hoo!!!!! CONGRATULATIONS!!!!
For all of you tens, I’ve got a favor to ask… Would you please think about the “secrets” of your happiness and share them with us?
Seriously, we are all on this planet to learn from one another and I would really love to hear what makes you happy, helps you live a positive life, and keeps your spirit soaring. So would our readers!
Throughout the past week, I’ve shared my ups and downs with you and have asked you to look at areas which impact your life. For instance, what do you love and value the most? How do you get through Life’s earthquakes? Are you able to see the blessings in the challenges? What makes your heart sing and lets your spirit dance? What lower energies or emotions do you have stuck in your body blocking the flow of Divine Love, Light and Joy? All of these things affect our happiness and well being.
Sometimes we only need to make small changes to create more positive energy and improve our moods… Things like cutting out sugar, caffeine and alcohol from our diet can definitely affect our moods. (Please stick through the detox period and you WILL see the benefits!) Something as simple as doing yoga in the morning for ten minutes or taking a fifteen minute walk after work can help us feel better. Soaking in a salt bath for 20 to 30 minutes to clear our energy or listening to our favorite music can also help.
Other times we need a complete overhaul! We may have to examine our lives from the inside out and make some drastic changes… in our thinking, in our life style, in our relationships, in our job, in our finances, and definitely in our self care. It can be scary and overwhelming. Yet it can be SO EXCITING because there’s so much to look forward to!!!
One of the keys to living a positive and joy-filled life is
to allow ourselves to enjoy the present moment
There’s nothing too big, nothing too small. We can ask for Divine Guidance, clarity and assistance in every way needed. We are never entirely alone. Sometimes we may need to build a new support group or circle of people who believe in us and will encourage us but they are always there when we ask God to send them. A little hope and faith can go a long way in creating miracles. We must simply allow ourselves to believe – and to receive!
Believe in your Self, in your Life, in your world, in your dreams! Believe in positivity and joy at the highest levels and they are yours! You are meant to be happy! Knowing you are MEANT to be happy, what can you do to increase the flow of love, light and joy in your life? What are you willing to do to invest in your Self?
Today, take action on your behalf and have a positively joyful day!
With Peace, Love, Happiness, Health, and Prosperity…

A Good Laugh, Check Out
It started so simple, so innocently… Tom fulfilled a promise to write the stories he said he would tell. A man, two dogs and a forlorn tree… Who could have known it would turn into the intriguing series known as "The Christmas Tree Chronicles." Don't be fooled by the name, these twisted tales take you year round!
It doesn't stop there, though.

TAKE THE
SFPNN KINDNESS CHALLENGE!
Living through the words of Gandhi, we must be the change we want to see in the world. We must also acknowledge those who are in the act of creating those changes. Therefore, we have two challenges for you.
Kindness Challenge # 1: Do something kind today and every day. It doesn’t have to be of earth-shattering proportions to make a positive difference. Simply saying “Thank You” or letting someone know they’re appreciated can have a tremendous impact. Find little ways to be kind and to make our world a kinder place. And feel free to tell us about your kind act!
E-mail: “KINDNESS”
Kindness Challenge # 2: Share something kind someone has done for you! People are kind to us in a myriad of ways on a daily basis. But we often overlook their kindness. Become aware of acts of kindness and acknowledge the person performing them. Then share their kind gesture with SFPNN.
E-mail: “KINDNESS”

Moments of Joy — From
I have this beautiful spot where I
go which is out in nature, has very little traffic and is a sacred place for me. This summer as I was picking up the trash, I
saw something gleaming. It turned out to
be glass, so I dug it out. It was about
¾ of an inch thick and a couple of inches long, shaped like a crystal. As I looked closer, I noticed more and
started gathering them. I took them home
and washed them and have started making sculptures by gluing them together in
unusual arrangements. I then placed them
on a base of rotating colored lights and voila! a
rainbow. I have made some for friends
who love them. I am having so much fun
making beautiful items out of this “garbage,” and it inspired this song.
Miracles sometimes happen
Miracles sometimes happen
When you least expect them to;
You never know what will show up.
One could be right around the corner,
Or under some trash that you pick up.
This summer I found what for me turned out to be
A diamond mine of opportunity
Underneath the filthy trash
That someone left, literally.
When you are open, you never know
When a miracle will appear.

There have been many times when I had an idea and wanted to do something about it but didn’t know what I really needed to do to make my idea happen. Then other times I have had some idea what to do but I knew I didn’t know all the steps to take to make it happen and then other times I knew what to do but was still not sure where to actually start and then, should I do this or that next.
Well, if you have ever had any of those same feelings, today’s link can be a large help to getting you through everything and getting your idea or project to completion.
You can either search by categories or just below that they have an alphabetical listing of all their checklists. Plus they indicate they add new checklists regularly so you might want to check back with this link regularly.
