Howdy Folks and Good Day!
It’s hard to believe this is our last week of SFPNN for 2007!
I hope you’ve all had a really good year. Each of us has our challenges and struggles as well as our own personal achievements, break-throughs, and victories!
I hope you’ll pause and take time to reflect on the year.
It’s human (actually ego) nature to remember all the bad stuff first. But as you do, give yourself credit and pat yourself on the back for coming through those tough times. Think about the lessons learned and the insights gained. Again give yourself credit and a pat on the back for “getting it.”
Look at the good times, too! What were your favorite moments of the year? What do you feel good about accomplishing? What makes you smile when you look back on it?
I remember the first time I read one of Cheryl Richardson’s
books where she suggests making a list of twenty-five accomplishments for the
year. My first thought was, “TWENTY-
But as I reflected on the year I realized I had survived an awful of personal challenges and had been able to help others along the way. When all was said and done, I think I actually had thirty-eight accomplishments I felt good about. It really changed the way I felt about myself and that year. Instead of feeling beat up and defeated from the many challenges I had faced, I really felt good about making it through and the person I had become – even though I had some work to do in terms of picking myself up again.
I really recommend taking on Ms. Richardson’s challenge to find at least twenty-five accomplishments you feel good about. They don’t have to be things you think other people would value – these are just for YOU… Things YOU feel good about!
Too often we compare ourselves with what we think others expect of us. Here’s a little secret… those expectations are usually false and they’re usually just our ego’s way of blocking us. Move past those doubts, fears, and ego blocks and allow yourself to feel good for having made it through another year.
If you’re here on this planet, living, breathing, and even reading this, you’ve got something to be proud of and to celebrate. You’ve made it this far! And my friends, that’s a blessing in itself. Life is a tremendous gift and a tremendous responsibility all in one. When we live it, breathe it, acknowledge it, it flows through us even more deeply. And that’s something to feel good about.
So are all the other things you’ve done to get through this past year of life… Whether you’re just surviving or actually thriving, you’ve done a lot to get to where you are. Give yourself credit. Give thanks to God for helping you. Give thanks to those who make it possible to live the life you are living. Give thanks to yourself for not giving up on YOU!
You’ve got a lot going for you!
You have a body, mind and spirit which are miraculous in their making.
You have a heart which can give and receive love.
You have lungs which breathe the air of life through-out your body.
You have the ability to read this and so much more so you can continue to learn and grow.
You have the ability to share your knowledge, wisdom and life lessons with others.
You have what it takes to be compassionate, empathetic and supportive to those who need a friend.
You have what no one else on this planet has…the ability to be YOU!
Now that’s something to feel good about!
With Peace, Love, Happiness, Health, and Prosperity…

WAS THIS YOUR BIGGEST PROBLEM?
According to our recent survey, the number one problem our readers listed was procrastination. Number two was lack of focus.
Not only do I think these two items are related, but I also think they are results rather than simply problems. Trying to kick the "do-it-later" habit without understanding what lies beneath is a tough job. It will seem hard and you probably won't make much progress.
Why do people procrastinate? Why do YOU procrastinate?
I think there are many reasons.
Sometimes we're unclear as to what the next best logical step is.
Sometimes we're fearful of making a mistake.
Many times we're just not sold on why the task or project should be done. Our 'why' isn't big enough.
And what we're procrastinating about can often be a 'should'. We don't want to do it, but we feel we SHOULD do it. Not very motivating is it?
It's important to, number one, realize when you are procrastinating. And then, look for why you may be doing so.
You can bull your way through, exert more discipline and get the job done, but that's usually the harder way. If you can see clearly what's stopping you, you can more often than not find an easier path.
That said, here are several good articles on overcoming procrastination.

WHERE
LOVE FLOWS, MIRACLES
What fuels your life? Do you believe in miracles? Do you believe in the power of love?
Where love flows miracles grow!
Time and again we hear stories of supernatural events taking place when a loved one’s life is in peril… the mother who lifts the car off her child, the father who fights off a wild animal to save his family, those who inexplicably survive the most critical situations against all odds so they can make it back to be with their loved ones. The power of love is nothing short of miraculous!
What we may not realize is that love’s power can create miracles in our every-day lives as well as those situations which put us in peril.
For instance, Love’s energy can heal our bodies! When we have aches and pains, we can direct love inward—first to our heart, then allowing it to overflow into our body. As it circulates through the body, we can direct love to specific aches and pains. We can even heal headaches and backaches by placing our hands on the affected areas and sending love through our hands into the area of soreness, asking for Divine help in relieving the pain.
Love can heal feelings of doubt, depression*, and low self esteem. When we send love into our heart and actively direct love into our mind and body, it can transform how we feel about ourselves. Saying “I Love YOU” to our Self (and meaning it) can really boost our energy field, our thoughts and our emotions.
Don’t believe it? Try this simple experiment. Get still. Notice your thoughts, emotions and body. What do feel in your stomach, heart and throat? What do your head, neck, shoulders and back feel like? Notice any tension or sense of constriction as well as any feelings of release, expansion or ease.
Now say something less than positive to yourself such as, “You’re not doing a very good job at this.” What happened? Did you notice the immediate constriction? Did you feel the pain-body increase? Could you sense the knots and lumps in your throat, stomach and heart? It doesn’t take much to have a negative impact!
Now place one hand on your heart and one hand on your stomach. Relax... Send love into your heart center and into your solar plexus (stomach region). Allow it to keep flowing as you address yourself by name and say, “I send you love.” Let the love heat up your hands, stomach and heart. Picture yourself getting a great big hug from God or your angels. Feel the love emanating all around you. Bask in it. Address yourself by name and say, “I love you…” and continue to send love to yourself. Now tune into your body. Could you feel the healing energy flowing through? Did the tension release? Were you able to sense a cleansing of pain? Do you feel refreshed and relieved? Are your thoughts more positive?
When we have a disagreement with someone or are harboring resentment toward them and having a difficult time forgiving them, the unresolved feelings create pain in our body, mind and spirit.
Try picturing yourself as well as the person you feel conflicted about. Illuminate both of you in separate balls of loving light. Send love to yourself and then ask God to send love to the other person and fill them to overflowing with whatever love and healing they need. Picture divine light showering down on them and love washing through them. Simultaneously, know the same is happening to you. Continue this process until you can tune into your body and feel positive energy instead of resentment and pain. (If it’s a really deep-seeded resentment, it may take a few sessions.) Notice the sense of release you feel. Become aware of the aches and pains flowing out of your body. Experience the miracle of forgiveness with a renewed sense of freedom and release!
In addition to our body mind and spirit, we can send love into, places, situations and circumstances we need healed or improved.
Fill your home with the energy of love to create a more peaceful atmosphere between family members. Try sending love into your workplace each day before you go into the office. Direct love to any challenges you are experiencing along with the vision of the challenge being resolved for the highest good of all. Surround your finances with love. Ask God and the angels to guide love into all of your conversations and negotiations. Give love to your pets and house plants! I’ve literally seen healing occur in moments, overnight or within just a few days of giving any living being healing love!
Pay attentions to the changes that begin to take place as you fill your life with love!
Where love flows miracles grow!
