Howdy Folks and Good Day!

Well, this is it.  The last issues of SFPNN for 2007!  We will return on January 14th, 2008.

I type this with a great big smile of gratitude as well as a little twinge in my heart.  The gratitude is for all the blessings in my life.  This includes each one of YOU as well as our SFPNN Featured Authors and regular contributors.

Many folks don’t realize ALL of SFPNN’s authors VOLUNTEER their work… even those with professional syndications who could be charging us by the word have “given” us the gift of their time, talent and insights!

I certainly could not maintain SFPNN on my own.  Our Featured Authors make our e-zine possible.  I encourage you to use the e-mail links provided after their columns to write them throughout the year and let them know you appreciate their contributions!

The twinge comes from the realization that another year has come and gone.  It just doesn’t seem possible!  Yet when I reflect back on all the experiences, it seems like there has to be more than just one little year to fit them all in!

Right now I’m rejoicing in sweet memories. Adding to the joy, I’m sipping a butterscotch flavored brevé cappuccino and munching on miniature gingerbread men and angel shaped peppermint sugar cookies made even more special by the friends and family who helped make them.   Tiger, my 30 pound teddy bear living in a cat’s body, is purring loudly behind my chair.  And Crystal, my petite feline who performs “rei-kitty” and “Catopractic” is fast asleep on her (my) favorite fuzzy blanket.  Candle flames dance on my desk setting a beautiful amethyst crystal aglow as their light.   The stereo is playing Christmas songs to keep me company while my husband works the night shift and I complete this last issue of 2007.

My life is far from perfect – so am I.  But in this moment, this precious moment – everything is right in the world.  And the really neat thing is that these kinds of moments are happening closer and closer together.

I am truly blessed!  My heart is running over with love and gratitude and I wish I could fill every person on this planet with these incredible feelings.

Not only do I know I am blessed, I FEEL it running through every cell of my being.  Folks, I send this ribbon of love, gratitude and blessings to each of you.  May it fill you to overflowing with an inexplicable joy and such positive energy that you can feel it too!

May the miracles of this season warm your heart and mind always...

Merry Christmas, my Friends. Merry Christmas!

With Peace, Love, Happiness, Health, and Prosperity…

Rev. Jeanette

STAMPS

A woman goes to the post office to buy stamps for her Christmas cards. She says to the clerk, "May I have 50 Christmas stamps?"

The clerk says, "What denomination?"

The woman says, "God help us. Has it come to this? OK... Give me 14 Catholic, 8 Presbyterian, 16 Lutheran and 12 Baptists."

16. For A Good Laugh, Check Out Tom R. Oh!

It started so simple, so innocently… Tom fulfilled a promise to write the stories he said he would tell. A man, two dogs and a forlorn tree… Who could have known it would turn into the intriguing series known as "The Christmas Tree Chronicles." Don't be fooled by the name, these twisted tales take you year round!

It doesn't stop there, though. Tom R. Oh is one of SFPNN's most prolific writers with a style uniquely his own and several mini series in the making.

17. Kindness Suggestion

Today’s Kindness Suggestion is dedicated to Betty Chandler

be an Expression of Love

by Gus Chandler

Through a loss in my life recently, it has become clear that the miracle I prayed for -- a cure for my wife's cancer -- was not the miracle that happened.

The miracle that showed up was the opportunity to receive and give love during the last year of her life. My wife shared with me that she was ready to shed the human experience to move on with her spiritual journey. She reassured me on several occasions that SHE was not her body!  She stated there was no death -- just transition from the human experience to a continuing spiritual journey.

While she was in the process of releasing her physical body she was able inspire others by being the LOVE.   She somehow knew she was meant to be an expression of Love.   And she allowed the people in her life the opportunity to express their love to her in many ways. She also gave much love in return. My wife was a woman with courage surrounded with gentleness.

What were some lessons I learned?

* Live every day as consciously as possible.

* Live each day as if it were the last.

* Live each day to its fullest expression.

* Step to the edge of your comfort zone.

* Be an expression of Love.

* Know there is no promise of tomorrow in the human experience.

My wife, my love, my teacher taught me these lessons not so much with words but with her actions of Love.

GOD bless her soul!

18. TAKE THE SFPNN KINDNESS CHALLENGE!

Living through the words of Gandhi, we must be the change we want to see in the world.  We must also acknowledge those who are in the act of creating those changes.   Therefore, we have two challenges for you.

Kindness Challenge # 1:  Do something kind today and every day.   It doesn’t have to be of earth-shattering proportions to make a positive difference.  Simply saying “Thank You” or letting someone know they’re appreciated can have a tremendous impact.   Find little ways to be kind and to make our world a kinder place.  And feel free to tell us about your kind act!

E-mail: “KINDNESS

Kindness Challenge # 2:  Share something kind someone has done for you!   People are kind to us in a myriad of ways on a daily basis.  But we often overlook their kindness.  Become aware of acts of kindness and acknowledge the person performing them.  Then share their kind gesture with SFPNN.

E-mail: “KINDNESS

19. Moments of Joy — From Joy Hart

Thinking about how I decide which way to go, when I can either choose the fastest way or the most pleasant way, this song came.

a choice to make

Whenever I have a choice to make,
I choose the peaceful way.
Disdaining the hubbub of the world,
I choose a path less traveled.
So I can be more at one with mySelf,
And less distracted
By dealing with other people,
Even though they're all aspects of You.
Because You are Totality,
Meaning there is nothing else.

— © Joy Hart   12/9/2007

Now available: You may choose any six columns and I will make a cassette especially for you with me reading the commentary and singing the song(s).  This is available for $12.00 plus $2.00 shipping.  If you would like to hear any of the songs I have shared, you may call me at 859 816-8918.

A

--- Proverb

Never laugh at anyone's dreams. People who don't have dreams don't have much. --- Unknown

Impatience is a sign that one has temporarily forgotten, to behave at all times, as if their dreams have already come true. --- The Universe

I want to thank Jeanette, our own editor, for sharing this web site with me so I can share it with you.

What are your Dreams?  What were your Dreams when you were a kid?  What would your Dreams be if you could not fail?

You can have them all. Believe it and don't let anyone else rain on your Dreams.
Whether you are a New Years Resolution person or not please set your Intention for next year to start living your Dreams, that's why you have them.
