Howdy Folks and Good Day!

What inspires you?

What was the first thing that just came to your mind?  Was there a whole list of things?

How often do you ALLOW yourself to be inspired?

So frequently in our fast-paced world we see and hear more, more, more but feel less and less.  It’s not because there’s less to be felt!  A lot of us have trained ourselves to block out our feelings through work, food, alcohol, t.v., books, video games, medications, you name it!   When we do allow ourselves to feel, we wonder if there’s something wrong with us.  Hmmm… what’s that odd sensation?  It feels strange!

Rest assured, feeling things is not abnormal.  In fact, human beings are made sensitive.  Our bodies are like human barometers, measuring the pressure and energy of everything around us.  We can sense when others are in a good or bad mood, we can feel when something is emitting a loving energy or a threatening vibe.

Our intuition and sensitivities can also detect when something has a lot of “God energy” or goodness to it.  The challenge is allowing ourselves to indulge in this divine flow; to bask in it, to be inspired by it.  The reason we don’t often feel inspired is because we move on from things before allowing ourselves to really experience them, connect with them, and sense the energy of Spirit flowing through them.

I invite you to pause several times through-out the day.  Really tune into something… A flower, a tree, the sunshine, stars, or the moon’s glow, rain or snow, a person, an animal, a rock or crystal, a piece of music, maybe even a picture or a story.   Give yourself time to really connect with it.  Feel it with all of your senses. Experience its real essence.  Allow yourself to “become one” with it and be inspired by it.

And truly enjoy the moment!

With Peace, Love, Happiness, Health, and Prosperity…

Rev. Jeanette

1.      What kind of day will today be?

The kind of day we make it!

A little pro-active positive programming can go a long way in creating our heart’s desires.  All of our thoughts have energy.  Energy attracts like energy.  Think about your desires for today. What would you like to experience in the next 24 hours?   Allow yourself to see it manifesting in your mind’s eye and feel it happening in your body so the energy of your thoughts and emotions draws it to you. Affirm it on the lines below!

Today, I desire and experience…

3.      Have YOU Experienced Soul Magic?

Miracles happen every day in every way.  Those amazing things, big and small, which touch our heart and soul can seem absolutely magical.  They often leave us with a profound feeling which goes beyond anything we can explain with logic.  Sometimes they change us for just a brief moment, filling us to overflowing with awe and wonder, gratitude, a sense of connection to something bigger, or even renewed faith.  Other times they are literally life changing.

As the editor of SFPNN, I personally invite you to share your Soul Magic experiences with us.

You don't have to be a professional writer, just talk into the page and tell us your story!   E-mail:  SOUL MAGIC

4.      “When you have the opportunity on a clear night, go outside and look up at the night sky and the heaven of stars.  Take in a deep cleansing breath and just be there in the moment.  This helps to expand your consciousness.  Try to see the vastness and wonder of the universe, to know that you are one with it all.  The same energy that makes up the universe…is in you.”

EAGLES SOARING
By Ellie Braun-Haley

Shawn and I saw a magnificent sight last week… an eagle with a white collar. It was while we were driving toward our acreage. The bird was breathtaking, sitting high on a tree. In the same area I had seen other eagles but never one of this coloring!

A friend of mine wrote to us to tell us that the eagle is a very special and powerful symbol. She said:

"The Indians look at animals as messengers. The eagle feather is their main tool for healing and it is worn in their headdresses etc. I found this on line:

The Eagle is recognized in Earth Medicine as a Winged One that is a symbol of Creation. In particular, the Thunder Eagle (or Thunderbird) is revered as a powerful Spirit that heralds great change and unlimited happiness that arises through the fountain of the Divine Creative Spark.

Eagle's place in Native American culture is quite significant, as very few Totem Animals are believed to possess such a broad and all-encompassing range of Medicine. For Eagle, the greatest creation is Life, either in the saving of the life of another (as through the strong healing emphasis associated with this raptor), or in the act of procreation.

Like the legendary Phoenix, the Eagle is an Animal Totem of Transformation and Regeneration, a Spirit in a continual creative process.

***The two-legged who is blessed to have this Spirit Animal fly beside him/her, will be an individual that has entered onto the Good Red Road to express themselves creatively.

This Divine Spark of Creativity may manifest in a multitude of channels, from music to making intricate and stunning jewelry, producing beautifully illustrated paintings to conceptualizing impressive architectural designs. Whatever medium this creative genius asserts itself, these will often be amongst the most skilled of artisans, poets and musicians.

Indeed, the entire existence of the Eagle individual will seem to be a creative process, and life will be seen with a sensitivity that is both esthetic and deeply spiritual. Herein lies the key for the Eagle Soul, as the art they create will contain deeply spiritual overtones and undercurrents, their music, writing or art will transcend their captive audiences to a higher vibration where all life is celebrated with a deep reverence and joy."

Shawn and I have seen eagles flying over our home in Mexico and other eagles flying along over the fields out near our Alberta acreage, but for me the one we saw last week was the Grand-Daddy of them all. This was a splendid bird and when it took flight I felt as though I too had lifted off!!

Courage

Many of our readers know I am currently involved in trying to open a museum that honors all heroes.  I personally represent "The Colonel Charles Waterhouse Historical/Art Museum."

The "Colonel," as he is affectionately known as, has painted and sculptured military heroes from the Revolutionary War days till today. He is in his 80's and is currently working on portraits of Medal of Honor recipients and the deeds that won them the honor.

As we approach different entities to join forces in getting this museum open, I am continually made aware of the courage it took to make these individuals "Heroes."

Ralph Waldo Emerson's famous quote "A hero is no braver than an ordinary person, but he is braver five minutes longer," and George Patton's "Courage is fear holding on a minute longer" or "Courage is not the absence of fear, but rather the judgment that something else is more important than fear," by Ambrose Redmoon all describe a hero taking that extra step.

"Courage is grace under pressure." — Ernest Hemmingway

There are heroes wherever we look, whenever we look. Yet many of us do not recognize or acknowledge them. And as Dale Carnegie said, "Most of us have far more courage than we ever dreamed we possessed."

In everyday life it takes courage. Not the same as in the battlefield, or facing a fire or flood, but courage to be the best we can be...

Courage to stand up for what is right.

Courage to always speak the truth.

Courage to lead a moral and ethical life.

Courage to respect all others and allow them to have the same intrinsic, basic rights.

Courage to stand up for your beliefs.

Courage to do what you were put on this earth to do.

Courage to be all that God intends you to be...and you too will be a Hero in someone's life
