Howdy Folks and Good Day!

My friend Diane has a saying, “not everyone thinks like I do.”  This is a great way to remind ourselves to be patient with others.  It’s also a great spiritual lesson to learn.

Just as no two people are identical, no two people think exactly alike.  We all have different experiences, different ways of processing things, different ways of looking at the world.  This can be challenging when we’re trying to get a point across, expect others to agree with us, or when we have a specific agenda or goal we’re trying to accomplish.  It can be particularly frustrating when we assume others have the same knowledge we do only to discover they don’t.

I can recall several incidents where folks assumed someone should know exactly what they were talking about but didn’t.  Some were comical.  Like when a friend asked one of her family members to bring a relish tray for Thanksgiving dinner and he showed up with a tray of the most wonderful pickles and relishes you could imagine!  She assumed he knew a “relish” tray was one with vegetables, meat, cheese, etc. (and possibly pickles).  He assumed she meant relishes – the kind you put on hot dogs and the like, including lots of pickles.

Another incident required more compassion and patience than laughter.  A student in a class on using intuition had never worked with oracle cards before.  He thought you just looked at the cards and picked ones that called to you.  Some of the other students were a bit more than impatient assuming he should have known you turn the cards over and pick them by feel, NOT by looking at the pictures on the front of them.  Yet this student’s so-called “ignorance” or lack of knowledge actually offered a different way for others to use the oracle cards.

When someone doesn’t have the same learning or way of thinking we do, they can often provide insights we may have overlooked.  Because they don’t see things the same way, they may find something we hadn’t thought of and actually provide a beneficial alternative solution or answer.

We all know the saying, “patience is a virtue.”  It presents being patient as something we do to be kind to others, or to be a good person.  But patience has its own rewards!   When we are patient and allow others to speak their mind, ask questions, give their perspectives and opinions, and learn new things, we are often given new wisdom and insights through their ideas and questioning.

We’ve all experienced the incessant questioning of a toddler with that infamous word, “why?”   The more answers we provide the more they ask “why?”  On a good day we lend our patience and our knowledge to teach their curious mind.  What we may not realize in the moment is that these toddlers are teaching us by leading us down the path of questioning why ourselves.

Usually we just take it for granted that’s the way things are.  But through the fresh and questioning mind of a toddler, we may gain a new perspective, new insights, and new wisdom by stopping to ponder why.  Why are things the way they are?  Why do we have our current beliefs?  Why do we think the way we do?

After all not everyone thinks the same.

Although it may require patience, open-mindedness, and compassion, this great gift of diversified thinking allows all of us to expand our consciousness.  And maybe even become better people as a result.

Today may you be blessed with Wisdom, Patience, Peace, Love, Happiness, Health, and Prosperity

Rev. Jeanette

2.      What kind of day will today be?

The kind of day we make it!

A little pro-active positive programming can go a long way in creating our heart’s desires.  All of our thoughts have energy.  Energy attracts like energy.  Think about your desires for today. What would you like to experience in the next 24 hours?   Allow yourself to see it manifesting in your mind’s eye and feel it happening in your body so the energy of your thoughts and emotions draws it to you. Affirm it on the lines below!

Today, I desire and experience…

WHY MORE INFORMATION WON’T MAKE YOU MORE SUCCESSFUL

My personal vision is to profoundly impact over a million people before my time on planet Earth is up.

There's a lot left to be done.

I love writing and sharing ideas with my readers around the world. I know it makes a difference because every week, dozens of you tell me so. But, even though the ideas we share are good, the principles sound and the resources helpful, it only adds to your knowledge. And knowledge isn't power.

The USE of knowledge is power.

A little over two years ago, I was frustrated by the lack of progress many of my readers and members were experiencing. I knew--and THEY knew--that there was a lot more success to be gained.

Most of them knew HOW to achieve their goals. And I knew that simply increasing their knowledge wouldn't make that much difference. What was needed was a system to get people clear on the what, why they wanted it and how to get it. And then keep them focused and consistently taking productive action toward their achievement.

That's how Diamond Club was born.

You've been hearing quite a bit about it lately.  And if it hadn't changed lives the way it has this past year, I wouldn't be spending as much time or energy writing about it.

You see, Diamond Club is about RESULTS. It's not about information.

Yes, training and resources are part of it--in fact, we open the vault of SuccessNet products to our Diamond Members. But the real secret--the real magic of Diamond Club--is the accountability and team support that keeps everyone on track.

Very simply, there are three major facets to Diamond Club: clarity, focus and consistency. And if you have all three, it's inevitable that you will succeed. Not maybe, not hopefully--inevitably.

It's not for everyone. And it may not be for you. But you won't be sure unless you investigate it thoroughly.

6.      Sir Froggie’s Pondering — from Sir Froggie

GET WET!

Is there anything you’ve always wanted to try but haven’t yet?  Do you know what’s holding you back?  Are you ready to jump in?

Then get wet!

The shore is a wonderful place to be.   You can see land, air and water while staying safe, warm, and dry.  You can watch birds fly and people walk and play.  You can feel the earth heating up beneath your feet and a beautiful breeze brushing against your skin.  You can smell the fresh air as it fills your lungs and energizes your body.  You can hear the waves lapping against the shore.  You can take in the beauty of flowers and trees and enjoy the antics of squirrels and other wildlife scurrying about.

But there’s one thing you can’t do from the shore.  You cannot fully experience the water.

You can see the water and even smell it.  You might see a fish or frog jumping out of the water on occasion.  But you cannot feel it on your skin, or know what it’s like to float in it, or experience the completely different aquatic habitat which exists beneath the surface beyond current view.  For that you have to jump in.  You have to get wet.

Like frogs and other amphibians who divide their life between the land and water, human beings also need to make choices.  This often requires making a leap of faith, entering the unknown, and exploring new ideas and places beyond what we’re used to.  If we have a pressing dream or a goal, there are bound to be new things we must learn and experience to make it happen.  Staying on the shore and sticking with the familiar doesn’t leave much room for advancement.  Moving forward requires reaching higher, deeper, and further.  We must take the chance.  At some point we have to get wet.

There are things we can do to prepare ourselves before completely jumping in.  We may want to test the waters a bit to see how temperate they are and how strong the current is.  Will we need a wet suit or something to protect us?   Do we need additional equipment?  Is there a chart or map to show the way?  Do we need a life-line or can we just swim at our own pace?  Is there someone with experience who can guide or instruct us?

At first, we may need to move slowly into the unknown waters of our dreams and goals.  We might charter a boat to get a better look at where we’re going.  Perhaps we can hire a professional who’s familiar with the territory and can help us navigate.   We may also want to research and find out what to expect beneath the surface.

Eventually we have to jump in.  The only way to see and experience what’s below the waters where our dreams lay is to simply dive in.   We can’t completely know what’s there until we are there.  We can’t fully have the experience until we are in the midst of the experience.

Sitting on the shore contemplating life is a good thing.  It can provide a place to rest and rejuvenate.  It can ground us, center us, and even inspire us to dream.  It can give us time to adjust to the temperature and current conditions while we figure out a plan of action.  But eventually, if we want to know what’s really out there, we have to jump in.

And get wet!
