Howdy Folks and Good Day!

Welcome to March!

I hope your spirit is “marching” in love, joy, and glory!

Human beings are such amazing creatures.  We’ve been given so many gifts and blessings in our lives.  Even when we have challenges, we are given the tools to cope with them, as well as support systems.

Sometimes we feel like we’re all on our own, but there’s always help from someone somewhere.  Hopefully we can turn first to family and loved ones, and then to friends.  Often we’ll have a special co-worker, counselor, or neighbor there for us.  And we have multiple resources in books, the internet, and even television at times.

Beyond all else, we have our faith and the help of God, our angels, and a host of spiritual beings working on our behalf.

Know that we are never alone.  We are blessed.  We are guided.  We are helped and supported.  Above all else we are all LOVED…

How simple it is to receive… All we need do is ask and be willing!

With Peace, Love, Happiness, Health, and Prosperity…

Rev. Jeanette

1.      What kind of day will today be?

The kind of day we make it!

A little pro-active positive programming can go a long way in creating our heart’s desires.  All of our thoughts have energy.  Energy attracts like energy.  Think about your desires for today. What would you like to experience in the next 24 hours?   Allow yourself to see it manifesting in your mind’s eye and feel it happening in your body so the energy of your thoughts and emotions draws it to you. Affirm it on the lines below!

Today, I desire and experience…

When is it Great Enough?

Dawn and I spent weeks putting the finishing touches on my latest book, "101 Best Ways to Be Your Best." We proofed, revisited, edited and even swapped out chapters.  It took three weeks longer than we thought until we proclaimed it "complete."

It's  often a tough call--particularly when it's your "baby." Most projects can be fiddled with, tweaked, polished and revised to the point where they never actually get done.

For many people, this can be a way to keep from failing. If the book, thesis or work of art is always in progress, then no one will judge it. What looks like a desire for perfection is often simply fear of failure.

I expect there are many of you reading this who are close to finishing something dear to you, but you seem to find excuses for not bringing the project to completion. Perhaps you have a number of unfinished projects. Remember that nothing is ever perfect. You'll always think of ways you could have made it better, sleeker, more efficient and with additional features.

But I like what my friend Mike Litman says, "You don't have to get it perfect, you just have to get it going."

Get it launched. Get it working. You can improve upon it later. Anything worthwhile is worth improving upon. All great things are in a constant state of improvement.

With the exception of a few things like brain surgery, airline maintenance and nuclear power plants, it's safe to say that something complete, but imperfect, has infinitely more value than something almost perfect but never done.

As for my latest book, we could still be working on it. But that wouldn't put it in your hands or in the hands of thousands of others. It couldn't have accomplished its purpose if it never got printed.

Will we find corrections and improvements we'll want to make? For sure. That's what second editions are for.

At some point you have to say, "It's great enough."

Action Point

What ideas, projects or creations are you procrastinating about?

Could it be you're afraid it won't be perfect?

Almost everything can be improved upon after its debut. So don't let your desire to get it perfect keep you from getting it going.

If you haven't started, start. If you haven't finished, finish.

TUNE IN FOR A SPIRITUAL TUNE-UP!

Are you walking your life’s path?  Are you filled with peace?  Do you feel connected to God or your Highest Self?

Tune in for a spiritual tune-up!

If we want our cars to run at their best, we perform regular care and maintenance on them.  We put in high quality fuel and regularly change out the oil, spark plugs, fan belts and air filters.  Often, we have a diagnostic run to make sure everything is in complete working order.  Why not do the same for ourselves?

If we want our body, mind and spirit to perform at their best, we must take care of ourselves and perform regular maintenance.

To get to where we want to go in life, it’s important to hear the voice of Divine Guidance, intuition, or our Higher Self.  We get so bombarded by outside noise and our inner “monkey mind” we frequently block out the fully operational navigation system that is built in to our genetic make up.  If we want to get the proper diagnosis and instruction, we must turn down the external noise and incessant thoughts in our head. And we must be able to distinguish the difference between Divine Guidance and ego or fear thinking.

One of the best ways to tune in is with a diagnostic tool called meditation.

First we need to turn our engine off and sit idly in silence to cool down a bit.  As we breathe deeply and allow quietness to run through our body, we can begin to tune in and scan for what’s going on within us.

Are there aches and pains present?  What are they trying to tell us?  What changes or self-care are they prompting?

Is anything out of alignment in body, mind, or spirit?  What kind of adjustments or rotations do we need to get things back into alignment?

Are we putting high quality fuel into our body with fresh fruits, vegetables, nuts, and water?

Are we allowing our engine to cool off enough with regular down time and a good night’s sleep?

Do we frequently get the gunk out of our system by cruising into a good exercise plan?

Are we driving ourselves at a good pace or are we speedily pushing ourselves beyond limits and need to slow down a little?

Regular meditative diagnostics can help us run at our best and prevent unnecessary wear and tear.  When we’re in meditation, we allow the Master Mechanic of our Being to communicate with us, flow through us, and lubricate the places that need help moving with grace and ease.  We can ask questions and get the answers and guidance we need. We can also receive instruction on necessary action to take for our lives to run more efficiently. And when the session is complete, we’re up and running better than before.

Tune in for a spiritual tune-up!
