Howdy Folks and Good Day!
Here we are at the last day of March, the 91st day of the year, 276
more days of 2008 to go! Not that I’m
counting.
Well…Actually I am. . . I’m counting on God to help me through today and every day. I’m counting on all the good people in my life to continue to act from a place of love and compassion. I’m counting on my Highest Self to lead me and guide me over the voice of the ego or doubt and fear. I’m counting on my faith in God, my Self, and humanity to help me continue in the direction of my dreams. I’m counting on the positive energy I send out into the world to make a difference and have a tremendous ripple effect, one which hopefully ripples back to me when needed.
Come to think of it, I’m counting on a lot.
The real beauty and miracle of it is that I CAN count on all these things! They’re not just a teeny-tiny possibility. They exist full-heartedly in our world and are available for each one of us. We need only look to see them in action.
Sometimes we’re afraid to look. Or we think we’re too busy to look. Often we just get too caught up in stuff to be aware of the grace and miracles that fill our daily lives. Today I invite you to pause with me for a moment. Think about all you have to be grateful for. Think of all the miracles in your life – both mini and mighty in size… Count your blessings. And revel in the moments of gratitude…
Then, when your mind starts returning to its normal busy self, engage in a little Spiritual House Cleaning. Write a letter to God and spill the beans about everything going on in your life. Nothing is too big or too small. Just get it all out. Then make a list and write down everything you want to place in God’s hands so He can take care of it and you can do what your Soul leads you to without being weighted down. After you’ve made your list, do something symbolic to place it in God’s hands!

When you’ve completed your Spiritual House Cleaning, add the blessing of having your burdens removed to your list of miracles. Notice the difference in how you feel. Experience the release and the sense of lightness that comes from placing your concerns in God’s hands.

Success Strategies — by
If you’ve ever watched the movie, ‘The Ten Commandments,” the quote above should be familiar.
It was what Yul Brynner said as the Pharaoh Rameses II when he issued an important command. The order was given, it was written down and it was to be done. The Pharaoh ruled—literally.
I thought of Rameses’ command recently when I wrote something down and within 72 hours it had come to pass.
We could say it was a coincidence except that it happens all the time. Our intention and our writing is part of the creation and manifestation process.
A friend of mine just showed me an affirmation he created when he was fearful of losing an important client. On an index card he wrote. “I am so happy and grateful now that Mr. “X” has renewed his commitment for another year.” Within two days, the renewal was made and check received.
And our Diamond Club Members and EMC regularly fill out their Intentions and Commitments forms each week to share with their mastermind teams.
It’s an exercise in active clarity and impressive results.
So what was it that I wrote down?
Well, you’ll hear more about it in the weeks ahead, but I can tell you part of the story now.
It started when I did a Diamond Club Training call on the importance and the art of networking. A short while later, I had Larry Benet, “The Connector” do a teleseminar on the same subject.
I really do try to practice what I preach, so I was updating my Top 20 List of people I am connected to as well as my Top 20 List of people to whom I would like to be connected. It was this second list to which I added the name of Michael Gerber.
Most of you are no doubt familiar with the founder of E-Myth Worldwide and author of several E-Myth books. Michael is one of my favorite business authors and his work has had a profound influence on my own. I have long wanted to meet him and develop a relationship with him, but I had never written it down.
Through an interesting sequence of events that would take a long while to tell you, and due to some very fortuitous connections, I now find myself registered for Gerber’s Dreaming Room (a new program he’s created that I was anxious to attend) at a very favorable rate.
So on April 25 and continuing through April 27, I will be working
with “Mr. E-Myth” in The Dreaming Room in
I highly recommend his new book, Awakening the Entrepreneur Within. It is all about his latest endeavor and how it will change the shape of entrepreneurship (my words, not his).
When I come back, I’ll be able to tell you more about the Dreaming Room from my own experience. I have a feeling that I and SuccessNet will never be the same.

5. Sir Froggie’s Pondering — from Sir Froggie
Are you a good listener? Can you lend an ear without lending judgment? Can you hear through the words being spoken into someone’s soul?
Hear with your heart!
When listening to others, we may hear what they say but as we’re taking in their words, we’re also forming opinions and judgments… Not only about what they’re saying, but irrelevant things such as what they’re wearing, how their hair is styled, or whatever else catches our attention in the moment. That’s unfortunate. Because when our ego gets so busy judging things, it completely misses the gifts of the soul each person may offer through their love, wisdom and kindness.
Everyone has a story. And in fact, multiple stories. We’ve all had experiences that made us laugh, and made us cry. We’ve gone through things which have brought us to our knees and those which made us feel like we could fly. We’ve gained our share of insights and lessons learned whether through a traditional education or the school of hard knocks. Every moment of every day adds to our repertoire and the gifts we can share with others.
The key is knowing how to listen, and from there, knowing how to share.
When we listen with our heart, we cast out judgment and usher in compassion… love… empathy… understanding. When we listen with our heart, we suddenly “know” another’s needs, whether that’s a simple word of encouragement, a hug, or a helping hand. When we listen with our heart, we move beyond the surface things the mind judges and connect with another’s soul, their deepest essence. It is in this meeting we are both blessed and guided to act from a higher ground.
Anyone can listen to words and cast judgment on what’s being said and the person speaking. It’s all too easy. Honestly, so is listening with the heart instead of the mind. The heart recognizes truth. It resonates with love. It speaks to us, leads us, and guides us. It sends messages in vibrations and feelings to let us know whether we’re on the right path or not. It tells us when to be open and embracing or when we need to be cautious and protect ourselves. When we hear with the heart regularly, it raises our frequency and draws us to those beings who also listen through the heart’s filter of love and compassion.
The heart has integrity, respect, and courage. The heart shows us who we are and who we can become. It dreams for our soul’s highest good. And it can activate the dreams of another as well as show them they are valued. The heart not only pumps blood through the body, it pumps life and love into our spirit. The heart is wise beyond belief and will guide us with great grace when we invite it to.
It’s time to stop listening with only our ears. It’s time to stop seeing with only our eyes. It’s time to tune into the soul.
And hear with your heart.
