Good news!!!!! Please See Bottom for More Updates!
This is the cancer I have:
Lymphoma Information Network - Follicular Lymphomas - B Cell, Low grade I or II.
Nothing was found in my bone marrow or in any other part of my body. It is local, in the left groin area. I will need radiation treatment daily for a while in this area of my body . . . I don't know how long, but that's it. This is a slow growing cancer . . . a little harder to treat because it is so slow growing. My incision could be healing faster . . . because of the location, when I walk I irritate the area. I am going back to work on Saturday . . . yippee . . . I may have to change my working schedule a little, but I get to go back and I am thrilled.
Thank you for all the prayers, kind words, visits, phone calls, etc., what a couple of weeks for me, my family and friends but now I know what I am up against, and I will breeze through it. The hardest part is telling family/friends bad news and the fear of the unknown. What a blessing that the unknown is now for the most part known and that I can send you good news.
Please take care of yourselves . . . with love and God bless

Latest Update!
My next appointment is in 3 months and I have to have CATs of my abdomen, pelvis and chest for this appointment. This is routine, nothing out of the ordinary for cancer survivors. My only problem is lymphedema in my left leg. Now that my oncologist told me it's not dangerous to my health, meaning blood clots, strokes and things like that, I feel much better.....very relieved!!!!
My working is still limited to every other day at the most, but I can still work and I am thrilled. One of my main concerns was not being able to go back to work. I love my job, and I'm even filling in for another employee this evening!!!! So, all in all, this is fantastic news.
Thank you all for your prayers, support, kindness, love....and so ! much more during this difficult time. Everything was and is greatly appreciated!!! Looks like I am over the hump.....I did it!!!
With love to all of you and God's blessings,
:) A Cancer SURVIVOR!!!
