If you’re one of the few people left who hasn’t seen “Finding Nemo,” see it!  The creative minds at Pixar Animation Studios (creators of Toy “Toy Story,” “A Bug’s Life,” and “Monsters, Inc.” ) bring life undersea at Australia’s Great Barrier Reef alive.  Marlin, a clownfish (voiced by Albert Brooks), is the overprotective single father of Nemo, a determined young lad with one malformed fin.  On Nemo’s first day of school, he gets caught by a diver.  Marlin is beside himself, and soon finds himself on a harrowing adventure to find his son.  Dory (Ellen DeGeneres), an extremely forgetful blue tang, provides Marlin some help along the way, most of the time.  The adventures in the open sea are many, including encounters with sharks, jellyfish, sea turtles and pelicans.

Once again, the animators at Pixar have raised the technical bar.  The lighting and textures underwater are amazing, really making you feel like you are in the sea.  The performances are wonderful, especially Ellen DeGeneres as Dory.  The comic timing between her and Albert Brooks as Marlin is impeccable, and will have you rolling on the floor.

“Finding Nemo has lots of laughs, adventure under the high seas, and a few touching moments.  It’s a fun film that will keep the whole family happy.
