who moved my cheese?

“Who Moved My Cheese?” was recommended to me by my personal coach and fellow SFPNN author, Lisa Vaden.  It is a short book, but packs quite a punch.  It is the story of two mice, Sniff and Scurry, and two “Littlepeople,” Hem and Haw, all of whom live in a maze.  They spend their days searching the maze for cheese to nourish them and make them happy.  They find success for a while, but then something suddenly changes, and we get to see how each reacts to the change.

Johnson does a great job of using these characters to illustrate how we react to changes in our life.  While I don’t think we react to every situation the same way, I can see parts of myself in each of the characters.  Not only does Johnson give us a mirror to reflect ourselves, but also helps us accept and deal with change so we can be more successful -- however we may define that.

“Who Moved My Cheese?” can be shared with anyone, from children to adults, though not everyone will get the same thing out of it.  I hope you take the short time to read this little story, and will soon use “The Handwriting on the Wall” to achieve what you desire.
