Dear Friends...

The 24 daily treatments went very fast for me, and I am honestly going to miss the friends I've made. My doctor and the staff were outstanding and I've made new "cancer" friends. It really is exciting when a patient finishes treatment. Lots of hugging and smiling and kind words, and even some tears of joy. My new "cancer" friends are real keepers!

Norma, I will keep in touch . . . you are next, Sweetie!!!! Let me know when you finish!

Now all I have to do is rest for the next 3-6 weeks because the radiation will be inside of me that long. Then, back to a completely normal life.

Gary (my hubby) and I decided to celebrate after seeing my doctor after my last treatment. We went out to dinner… that was all the celebrating I was up for, but it was a nice dinner and we thoroughly enjoyed our time together.

Jackie (my daughter) and her fiancé will be home from college this weekend to celebrate. Jackie is making me a homemade blueberry cheesecake for the celebration!!!! Of course I will watch The Bears win later today as part of the celebration! LOL

Thank you all for your support, love, kindness, prayers, cards, phone calls and so much more during this time... Everything has been so greatly appreciated. Please keep praying for me, my new cancer friends, and everyone that has cancer.
