DOES THE LORD KNOW ME PERSONALLY?
By Author and Motivational
Speaker,
Our connections with family, friends, neighbors and God are
of utmost importance and if we don’t put effort into the relationships they can
be fragile.
When my marriage ended and I was suddenly thrust out into
the world to earn a living for myself and my son, I felt as if I’d lost all
connection. The job I located was in a
In the first months of living in that new environment, settling into an entirely different way of life, my fears seemed to vanish. I felt “special.” I eventually realized this feeling came about because I was surrounded by God’s protective angels. I could feel it!
It was an amazing time for me and as I look back on it I can
see just how precious I am to my Heavenly Father. It was as though God placed
me in a cocoon whereby no one could hurt me. He stayed with me for a few months
and then one day I realized He wanted me to try my wings, solo. In fact, it was
the release itself which helped me to realize just how protective God had been.
Since that time our Lord has given me personal revelation,
has answered innumerable prayers, has shown me how to utilize healing energy to
help my sister and my mother, and has given me a calmness so I could utilize
and succeed with the talents He blessed me with. Daily my Heavenly Father
continues to teach me endless lessons. He knows me and as I strive to stay
connected to Him, He guides and supports me.
I’d actually never put a lot of thought into whether God, our Heavenly Father knew me personally until one day, it hit me …”God really cares about me.”
We are children of God and HE knows each of us personally.
We have and need “connection” in this life and the connection to our family and
friends is important; yet even more significant and imperative is that
connection to our Father in Heaven. When we start each day and end each day
speaking to Him we keep the connection strong!

A Little extra from Ellie:
One day at a garage sale just a block from our office, I sat
down and began visiting with two ladies. Here is a story one of the ladies
shared with me…
One day, her coloring ignored, three year old Kathy sat at
the table, gazing out the window.
“What are you doing Kathy?” her mother asked
“I’m thinking,” responded the youngster.
Her mother asked, “Well, what exactly is thinking?”
In the space of a second young Kathy turned to look at her
mother and responded, “that is when I use my voice
that doesn’t speak!”
Thinking
of you with a quiet loving voice and reminding you that often GOD SPEAKS to us
with a quiet loving voice. —
