 Howdy Folks and Good Day!

Have you ever noticed we sometimes feel on top of the world and other times feel as if the world has crashed down on us?!   Ouey – those days are the pits!   When we’re in them, they can be really difficult to see beyond because so much tends to happen at once and the chaos can blind us to the positive outcomes that are available.   In addition, buttons get pushed and all the old programs of fear, doubt, betrayal, and yadda, yadda, yadda,  get launched and take over our thinking.   My Mom would could these the “stinkin’ thinkin’ days!”

It’s easy to recognize from a distance, but not so much when we’re in them.  It’s like a whole bunch of computer viruses hijack our brain and our vision of the world.  So what can we do?

Well, there are some computer viruses we can get rid of ourselves.   We might have some good antivirus programs that we can run… maybe it’s in the form of prayer, meditation, going for a walk, soaking in a nice hot bath, reading some inspirational material, writing positive affirmations, spiritual house cleaning , working out, taking a nap, listening to positive music, watching a funny movie or another activity we can do on our own to reset our thinking and clear up the mind viruses.

But sometimes, when we get a really bad mind virus, or multiple mind viruses hit all at once, we have to enlist the help of someone else who’s really good at dealing with these things.  Maybe it’s a best friend, family member, coworker, counselor, neighbor, clergy person, medical doctor, or someone else.  Trouble is, when we’re in the stinkin’ thinkin’ mode, our mind may try to trick us into thinking we must handle it on or own; or worse yet, try to convince us that no one is there for us.  Do not listen.  This is a lie.

My Friends, there is ALWAYS someone there for us if we’re willing to reach out and ask for help.  Sometimes it may not be the people we expect to be there.  In fact, the help may come from completely unexpected sources.  But there is always help.  We might have to look in different places.  We may have to try more than one source.  But if dealing with a really nasty mind virus, it’s worth the effort to keep trying so it doesn’t wipe out our memory of Who We Really Are.

The truth is each one of us is a unique expression of God… of God’s Love, God’s Light, God’s Gift to the world.  Really!

We may need to take some time out to get back to that knowing, that understanding of Who We Are.  We may experience moments of stinkin’ thinkin’ that convince us otherwise, but they are just bad programming gone awry.  Once we find our way back to the Truth, and get those mind viruses cleaned up, we’ll be running better than ever.

So I encourage you today and every day, do what it takes to take care of you… and to keep your thoughts on the Truth of Who You Really Are.  Should a stinkin’ thinkin’ mind virus attack, recognize it for what it is and get rid of it as soon as possible.   You are better than that.  You are gift to this Earth and everyone in it.  Yes you!  And you… and you, too… We all are.  That’s why we’re here sharing the planet together.  So take care of you and have a great day!

With Peace, Love, Happiness, Health and Prosperity,

Rev. Jeanette

Kindness Suggestion

Every one of us has our good days and bad, which sometimes turn into good or bad weeks, months or even years!  Let’s face it… Life can be really tough sometimes!  And while we all have inner strength and can tap into God’s strength and courage, there are times when we get so run down, so discouraged, so down in the dumps, we simply can’t get to that place of inner strength or even hear God’s voice when He whispers in our ear.  It’s not a good place to be.  In fact, it’s downright dreadful to experience.

It’s amazing how much someone else reaching out to us with a prayer, a hug, a smile, words of encouragement, or just letting us know they’re there for us can make in those moments.  When we cannot seem to find the faith in ourselves or even in God, someone else’s faith may be the very thing which pulls us through.  That doesn’t mean they take on our problems for us, or make all the stuff go away.  It means they see the higher good available to us when we can’t.  They hold us in the Light of God when all we feel is darkness.  They know for us better times are just around the bend when we feel as if we can’t take another step.   Their faith, their ability to tap into the Light, their knowing something better for us can be the very thing which motivates us to take that very next step no matter how big or small it may be.

Never underestimate the power of positive prayer and encouraging words.  They can literally save lives.  When you see someone struggling, be willing to pray for them; give a hug, smile an encouraging word.  Lend them your faith, shower God’s Love on them, know the best for them… and let them know you see better things ahead for them – especially when they can’t.  It can make all the difference in the world.

A Bit of Humor

If you can start the day without caffeine,

If you can always be cheerful, ignoring aches and pains,

If you can resist complaining and boring people with your troubles,

If you can eat the same food every  day and be grateful for it,

If you can understand when your loved ones are too busy to give you any time,

If you can take criticism and blame without resentment,

If you can conquer tension without medical help,

If you can relax without alcohol,

If you can sleep without the aid of drugs,

Then You Are Probably…

Success Strategies by Michael Angier

There are no straight paths to a worthy goal. If you can reach your goal without deviating from your plan and without getting off track, your goal is either very small, super simple or you are incredibly lucky.

Big goals are achieved by diligently staying on course, and recognizing—and forgiving ourselves—when we get off course. Achieving a worthwhile goal requires a constant effort in refocusing, redirecting, refining and re-evaluating.

And an important part in accomplishing that is the ability and commitment to reflect on our progress.  At the end of the day, the week, the month and the quarter, it’s paramount that we think about what we’ve done, what we haven’t and why. I’m a big fan of WW, WD, WN (What Worked, What Didn’t and What’s Next). It’s a great way to look back on a time period, a project or the system you used to achieve what you wanted.

I’m also a big believer in “Correction Without Invalidation”. This objective reflection and evaluation without guilt is critical in making adjustments, corrections and improvements.

Be sure to schedule your reflection time. Make it part of your routine and you will find it will accelerate your progress and help you be more effective.

Recently I conducted an in-depth training for Diamond Club & Lifetime Gold Members on the best ways to stay on track, get back on track and refocus on what we really want.
