LET LOVE BE YOUR GUIDE

Do you trust the voice of Love or fear to guide you? Do you see the world through a positive or negative lens? Can you trust yourself, your loved ones, and the world?

Let Love be your guide.

We’ve been conditioned to live in fear. The evening news tells us daily why we should be afraid. Governments create rules, organizations and even wars to “protect” us from that which scares us. Businesses and marketing corporations play on our fears telling us what we need to buy in order to be safe or to be a good person or even to be loved. Our own mind creates fear with thoughts of doubt, insecurity and what could happen.

We don’t have to buy into fear’s propaganda. There’s another choice. That choice is Love. And it’s a much more trustworthy, truthful, and genuine guide than fear ever could be. (After all fear is the acronym for false evidence appearing real!)

Love is real. Love knows the truth – the higher truth of every individual. Love knows what’s best for us. One of the greatest things we can do in life is to let Love be our guide.

When we have a choice to make, whether it’s as small as what to eat or as large as which job to take, one of the best decision-making tools we can use is to ask: Would this decision be loving my Self?

If we put something into our body that isn’t loving or nurturing to it, it will only weaken us, drain our energy, negatively affect our moods and lead to illness. If we fill our body with something loving, it fuels us, energizes us, lifts our spirit, maintains a positive mood and creates health. It helps us think better, feel better, and live better because we are loving ourselves.

Love is an important guide to any relationship whether it’s with God, others, or our Self. True Love is relaxed, comfortable, supportive. We sometimes get True Love confused by the ego’s fearful love which is draining and constrictive. Ego’s imitation of love makes us fearful of abandonment instead of happy and content the way True Love does. It’s important to notice what we’re really feeling!

Love invites us to take action when we see something amiss in the world. Instead of making us feel like helpless victims the way fear does, Love says “you can do something about this!” When we ask what, Love provides an answer. Sometimes it’s as simple as a hug. Other times it may be helping somebody one on one or getting involved with an existing organization to solve the problem. Love shows the way and invites us to take the journey.

Love comes from a higher place, the place of Divine guidance and wisdom. Love knows. It knows what we need, what we desire, what’s good for us and what isn’t. Love fuels us. It lifts us. It helps us recognize the divinity within ourselves and others. Listen to Love.
