Have you ever felt the need to prove yourself? Do you find yourself trying to be “good enough” or “smart enough” or enough of anything else? Do you wonder or worry what others think of you?

Trade in proving yourself for self approval and acceptance!

When we feel the need to prove ourselves to others, it’s because we are not approving of ourselves! There is nothing we can ever do externally to make us feel others value our worth if we ourselves do not value who we are. No medal, no award, no amount of recognition, money, status, fame or good fortune can replace approving of ourselves and accepting ourselves internally.

Trying to prove ourselves only leads to disappointments and let downs because no one else’s approval can replace our own. Self approval and self acceptance will always bless us and those around us. The unconditional love we have for ourselves will help us become even better beings and make those around us feel safer and more welcome in our presence.

Because we teach others how to treat us, when we accept and approve of ourselves, others will be more naturally inclined to accept and approve of us, too. There’s no need to worry about what others might think.

When we accept and approve of ourselves, we are no longer pushed down by the constant stress and strain of having to be enough. Self approval and self acceptance truly set us free! Our spirit soars because we recognize the divinity of who we are.

When we approve of and accept ourselves for who we are right here, right now, it frees our energy so we can make positive investments in our health, our dreams and our relationships. We can focus on creating what we truly desire. Only now, we’ll be able to enjoy these endeavors because instead of worrying about others’ opinions, we’ll focus on how we feel… We’ll experience how good it feels to accomplish what we have, to live the life we lead, to be who we are.

Let’s face it, when we make the choice to approve of and accept ourselves, there’s a lot of good we can find within. We all have unique and positive qualities about who we are. We all have a purpose, a reason for being here. Even if that purpose is to be a loving and positive presence just like everyone else, we have our own special way of doing it! Let’s be grateful for who we are and open ourselves to the divine energy that flows through each of us.
