"TEACH ONLY LOVE, FOR THAT IS WHAT YOU ARE"
(A Course In Miracles)

I had a dream that all people came together to sing loving songs to our Maker. The gathering of people was only the beginning of thousands of millenniums coming together, the joining of all life. What I discovered was simple: "Only love prevails."

How easily I want to complicate life. I look around me and want to blame the universe for the "bad" things that appear to happen. It's an act of God, I think. And yet, in my heart I know that my projections come from inside me. What form appears doesn't matter. How I think inside does. So I choose to look at everything through the eyes of love. And then I see how we really do want to join and sing praises to God.

Joy and I shared Christmas 1999 with Joy's mother in Kingman, Arizona. We felt the love and peace that comes from the Christ child's celebration, and as a result we had the gifts of music surrounding us all the time. Bea, Joy's mother, received the gift of a clock from John, her grandson. Every hour the clock played a Christmas song, and every hour the three of us would stop whatever we might be doing and sing along. The world seemed to be a better place each time. And so we "saw" the world as such.

One of the blessings we shared was a sunset of such beauty that we followed it from start to finish. It was what we called spectacular! The colors glowed and changed magnificently and ended with a fiery burst of orange deepening to a purple twilight. And as we drove home, still in awe, we saw the lights of Christmas in the homes of other families that seemed to say that all was well in the world.

Joy and I brought in the millennium by watching the celebrations all over the world. Again, awe! What a wonderful world this is. And the fact that we can savor and enjoy it makes it all the more like singing the song of praise in every culture, in every language. My dream was exactly that. All people coming together singing, "We are the world; we are the children..."

This is a loving thanks to you for allowing me to share God's love with you. May we, together, continue to teach only love.
