Sometimes we need to work really hard.
Sometimes we need to play.
Sometimes we need to grieve and let go.
Sometimes we need to embrace and be close.
Sometimes we need to simply observe from a neutral space.
Sometimes we need to whoop it up and celebrate.
Sometimes we need to ponder life’s meaning and purpose.
Sometimes we need to ask the questions.
Sometimes we need to find and/or provide the answers.
Sometimes we need to learn and grow.
Sometimes we need to teach what we know.

And sometimes we just need to BREATHE….

Let’s take a moment to breathe and give thanks for this amazing thing called Life…

With Peace, Love, Happiness, Health and Prosperity,

Rev. Jeanette

Moments of Joy

In an attempt to conjure up a state of grace, this song came to me.  It worked.  If you would like to hear it sung, send me an email and I’ll email it to you.

You can be in a state of grace
Whenever you choose to.
There’s just one simple, little thing
That’s all you have to do.
Lay all your burdens down
And then just let yourself be
Exactly who are in the deepest part of you,
And let yourself be nurtured in that place
That is called a state of grace.

Good News

It’s time to share the good stuff!  Let’s shift our focus to what’s good, right, and blessed in our lives.  What are we excited about?  What are we grateful for?  Maybe a nice day, special event, good review, passing grade, job promotion, birthday or anniversary… Whatever it is, share your good news with us! E-mail and put Good News for SFPNN in the subject line.

Last weekend on May 19th, 2012, Mark got to make one of his dreams come true… He drove a NASCAR race car through the Rusty Wallace Racing Experience.  The experience included a brief class from a professional race car driver, and twelve laps around the Auto Club Race Track in Fontana, CA, reaching speeds of 155 mph.  (There’s a limiter on the cars which prevents drivers from going faster.)

After many years of struggling in school with D’s and F’s, Joey made his school’s Honor Roll for the first time this semester with all A’s and B’s!  Congratulations, Joey!  We’re really proud of you.  Keep up the great work!!!!

On May 13th, I did something I’ve wanted to do since moving into our condo six years ago… I hiked to the top of the mountain our home looks out upon.  My hubby Mark, Uncle Tom and Flute all joined in the adventure!  It took about 4 hours including photo stops, a lunch break and time to play Flute.  We hiked about 5 ½ miles on the China Flat trail  along Rock Ridge which peaks around 2,800 feet above sea level.  Check out the Postcard Adventures with Flute page for pictures.!/pages/Postcard-Adventures-with-Flute/139779209388783

Vicarious Travel with Patty

Conclusion: Part 6 of 6

The final stops on Boston’s Freedom Trail are explored today.  We visit Copps Hill Burying Ground, the Bunker Hill Monument (“Don’t fire ‘til you see the whites of their eyes.”) and the USS Constitution.  I hope you have enjoyed the virtual journey on this Historical Path through the American Revolutionary era remarkably still present in the city of Boston, MA.

The world is fascinating. Vicarious traveling prepares us for our real travels and connects us with the one thing that makes traveling so special - other people and places.  Please feel free to send any travel photos or stories to me that you would like to share so I can add them to the Vicarious Travel Page. There are so many places I have never visited but I would love to see and read about through your eyes.
